CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGES IS REAL STEP TO RESTORE UKRAINE’S INFRASTRUCTURE – INFRASTRUCTURE MINISTER

During a working visit to Chernivtsi region Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan examined a bridge in the village of Roztoky of Putyla district, the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry has reported.
“In 2008, as a result of flooding, roads and bridges of Chernivtsi region were significantly damaged… In the continuation of the construction of a bridge in the village of Roztoky, UAH 75 million were provided. UAH 100 million will be sent this year for the bridge over the Prut River. These are real steps of restoring the infrastructure of Ukraine. I thank the President of Ukraine, who identified the infrastructure as a key priority, as well as the governments of [Arseniy] Yatsenyuk and [Volodymyr] Groysman, which make it possible to gradually change the road network, repair bridges and give people new quality of travelling Ukraine,” the ministry said on the official page in the Facebook network on Sunday night.
Total subventions from the Road Fund for local roads in 2019 will be about UAH 15 billion.
“This is a large amount of financing, which has never happened before. All these funds should be used to restore roads and bridges in the regions, 20% of the funds can be spent on public roads. But for great effect, I urge local authorities to co-finance road repairs,” Omelyan said.

ZAPORIZHIAOBLENERGO TO RECONSTRUCT SUBSTATION TO CONNECT 20 MW SOLEN ENERGY SOLAR PLANT

PJSC Zaporizhiaoblenergo by September 2019 will reconstruct the 150/35/10 kV Likarniana substation due to the connection of a Solen Energy LLC solar power station in Zaporizhia.
The announcement of the signing of a relevant agreement with Assembly and Construction Company Synergy LLC on March 14 was published in the ProZorro system.
Development and Construction LLC also participated in the auction.
In May 2018, Zaporizhia City Council allocated 36 hectares for Solen Energy LLC on the Orikhivska highway.
According to Solen Energy’s website, the station’s capacity is 19.9 MW, the construction contractor is SIS LLC. The station has Risen and Longi modules with a capacity of 345 W and 365 W each, as well as ABB inverters with a power of 120 kW. In February, open hearings on providing feed-in tariffs to the station were held in Zaporizhia.

CARLSBERG UKRAINE SEES NET PROFIT RISE BY 1.5 TIMES IN 2018

PrJSC Carlsberg Ukraine (Zaporizhia), one of the largest brewing companies in Ukraine, in 2018 increased its net profit by 1.5 times compared with 2017, to UAH 1.634 billion.
According to a company report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, its assets amounted to UAH 4.757 billion (6.3% less), retained earnings some UAH 1.643 billion (11% less). The total debtor indebtedness amounted to UAH 648.3 million (20% more), current liabilities some UAH 1.585 billion (5.5% less). The company has no long-term liabilities.
The company plans to pay UAH 1.329 billion in dividends for 2018, the payment term is until October 24, 2019. The rest of the profit will remain at the disposal of Carlsberg Ukraine.
Carlsberg Ukraine is part of Carlsberg Group, one of the leading brewing groups in the world, whose products are sold in more than 150 countries.

NEW RULES OF AIR TRANSPORTATION OF PASSENGERS AND BAGGAGE COME INTO FORCE IN UKRAINE

The State Aviation Service of Ukraine has posted on its website the new rules of air transportation of passengers and baggage that have come into force.
The document, in particular, does not contain the norm on the mandatory free baggage allowance of a certain weight (previously 15 kg).
According to the new edition of the rules, information on the maximum amount and weight of baggage, accepted by the air carrier for transportation without payment, is specified in the rules of the air carrier and the contract of carriage provided to the passenger.
The State Aviation Service also legalized the new rules for charging fee for registration at the airport.
“Check-in at the airport is free of charge if it is provided for by the rules for applying the fare according to which the ticket was purchased and also if registration cannot be done via the airline’s website or using the self-service kiosk. Otherwise, the air carrier may charge an additional fee for check-in at the airport,” according to the rules.
The deadlines for check-in and boarding have also changed: now airlines can close check-in counters no earlier than 45 minutes before departure, and boarding gates no earlier than 15 minutes before departure (earlier 40 and 10 minutes respectively).

BOGDAN MOTORS POSTS NET PROFIT OF UAH 25.8 MLN IN 2018

Bogdan Motors automobile company, which unites the production assets of Bogdan Corporation, in 2018, according to preliminary data, received a net profit of UAH 25.83 million, while a year earlier its loss was UAH 957.19 million.
According to the agenda of a general meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 22, the uncovered loss of Bogdan Motors amounted to UAH 6.418 billion by the beginning of the current year.
According to the draft decision of the meeting, it is planned to keep profit undistributed and not to pay dividends.
The current liabilities of the company over the past year increased by almost 11.4%, to UAH 7.914 billion, while it had no long-term liabilities.
The total debtor indebtedness last year rose by 43.7%, to UAH 825.898 million, assets as a whole increased by 31%, to UAH 2.593 billion.
By January 1, 2019, the net worth of Bogdan Motors amounted to ‘minus’ UAH 5.231 billion, charter capital to UAH 1.101 billion.
