Ukrainian households installed 1,107 roof solar power stations in the second quarter of this year, which is twice as high as in the first quarter of 2018, the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine has reported. “In general, 4,660 private households installed solar panels with a total capacity of almost 90 MW as of the end of the first half of 2018. Investments amounted to about EUR88 million,” the report said.
According to the agency, the leaders in the number of “household” solar stations are Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Ternopil regions.
