Danylo Halytsky Lviv International Airport in January-June 2021 increased passenger traffic by 36.6% compared to the same period in 2020 – up to 512,370 people.
In particular, the airport served 4,450 international and more than 1,000 domestic flights.
For the six months of this year, the number of flights for arrival/departure from the airport amounted to 5,514, which is 47.4% more than a year earlier. The most popular destinations in terms of passenger traffic are Antalya, Istanbul (SAW, IST), Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada and Kyiv (Boryspil International Airport).
As reported, in 2020, the international airport Lviv reduced passenger traffic by 2.5 times by 2019 – to 878,500 people.
