SKYUP AIRLINES RESUMES FLIGHTS FROM BIGGEST UKRAINIAN CITIES

SkyUp Airlines (Kyiv) on May 28 resumes flights on the route Kyiv – Odesa – Kyiv.
As the press service of the company said on Tuesday, flights will be operated daily, except for May 30. The plane will depart from Kyiv at 08:00 in the morning, and from Odesa at 09:50. The flight duration is one hour.
SkyUp said that it also plans to operate flights to Odesa from Kharkiv, Lviv and Zaporizhia from the end of May.
Domestic flights from Kyiv to Odesa are also operated by Windrose, UIA and Motor Sich airlines.

UKRAINIAN SKYUP CLOSES TICKET SALES TO EUROPE

SkyUp (Kyiv) has withdrawn from sale tickets for 15 routes from Kyiv and Lviv to Europe, which it planned to launch within the summer schedule.
As the company’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine, in particular, the routes from Kyiv (Boryspil International Airport) to Germany – Berlin, Hanover, Nuremberg, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Munich and Stuttgart were removed from the ticket booking system.
In addition, the sale of tickets for routes from Kyiv to Copenhagen, Stockholm and Ostrava, as well as from Lviv to Alicante, Lodz, Bergamo, Paris and Prague is closed.
According to the company, passengers who purchased tickets for these flights through the airline’s website will receive funds for them to the balance in their personal account. They can be used to purchase any tickets or additional services of the airline. The funds will be kept on the balance sheet without time limits and can be spent in favor of any person, not only the account owner. In addition, it will be possible to withdraw money from the balance to the card.
If the ticket was purchased through an airline sales agent, one needs to contact the place of purchase to clarify the options.

SKYUP FROM KIEV TO OPERATE TEL AVIV-KYIV FLIGHT ON MARCH 8

SkyUp (Kyiv) will operate a flight from Tel Aviv (Israel) to Kyiv on March 8.
According to the company’s press service on Friday, the departure from Tel Aviv is scheduled for 15:25 local time. The flight arrives at Boryspil International Airport at 18:45.
Tickets are available only for citizens of Ukraine.
Currently, Israel, in accordance with the list of countries with a significant spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), compiled by the Health Ministry of Ukraine, is assigned to the “red” zone. This means that after arriving from this country, observation or self-isolation for 14 days or a negative PCR test is required.
In addition to SkyUp, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) plans to operate evacuation flights on the Kyiv-Tel Aviv-Kyiv route on March 8 and March 10.

SKYUP TRANSPORTS ALMOST 59,000 PASSENGERS IN DEC, 82% BY CHARTER FLIGHTS

SkyUp (Kyiv) in December 2020 transported 58,800 passengers, of which 48,200 used charter flights, and 10,600 used regular flights.
According to the company’s press service, in December, 390 flights were performed under the international destination schedule (292 charter flights and 98 regular ones).
The airline also said that last month it completed 71.3% of its flights with 100% punctuality.
In addition, in December SkyUp transported 23 tonnes of cargo by passenger flights and performed seven cargo flights, which transported another 128.9 tonnes of cargo.
SkyUp LLC was registered in Kyiv in June 2016. The founder is ACS-Ukraine LLC of Tetiana and Yuriy Alba, who also own the JoinUp! tour operator.

SKYUP LAUNCHES FLIGHTS FROM KYIV TO CZECH REPUBLIC

SkyUp Airlines (Kyiv) from April 25, 2021 launches flights on the route Kyiv-Brno (the Czech Republic)-Kyiv.
The press service of the company said the flights will be operated twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.
The cost of tickets from Kyiv to Brno without luggage starts from UAH 1,016, from Brno to Kyiv from UAH 966.
As reported, the commission of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine decided to recommend to the head of the service to grant SkyUp the right to operate the Kyiv-London (UK) route for regular flights for an unlimited period from January 4, 2021.

SkyUp launches flights from Kyiv to Memmingen

SkyUp Airlines (Kyiv) from March 30, 2021 starts the flight program on the Kyiv-Memmingen (Germany)-Kyiv route.

As the press service of the airline reported, the flights will be operated three times a week: every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The cost of a ticket without luggage from Kyiv to Memmingen is from UAH 1,963, from Memmingen to Kyiv – from UAH 2,086.
