AB INBEV EFES GETS LOSSES IN UKRAINE

PrJSC AB InBev Efes Ukraine (Kyiv), one of the largest brewing companies in Ukraine, received UAH 493.04 million in net loss in 2020 compared to UAH 63.57 million in net profit in 2019.
According to the company’s statement in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission on the annual meeting of shareholders on March 31, its assets grew by 16% over the year, to UAH 5.24 billion.
Retained earnings of the company in 2020 amounted to UAH 382.4 million versus UAH 103.66 million in 2019.
The shareholders of the company at the meeting intend to channel the reserve capital in the amount of UAH 31.45 million to cover the loss received in 2020, and to repay the rest of the loss at the expense of deferred profit.
In addition, the shareholders plan to open a credit line at the level of UAH 10 billion to conduct business.
According to AB InBev Efes, the number of ordinary registered shares of the company in 2020 did not change and amounted to 9.511 billion.
As reported, one of the leaders of the Ukrainian brewing market AB InBev Efes Ukraine was created in 2018 as a result of the merger of AB InBev and Anadolu Efes on the territory of Ukraine and Russia. AB InBev Efes Ukraine has three breweries in Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv.
