CHORNOMORSK SEAPORT REDUCES CARGO HANDLING BY 7.7%

Chornomorsk seaport (Odesa region) reduces handling of goods by 7.7%, to 19.437 million tonnes in January-October 2020 compared to the same period in 2019.
According to the website of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA), over the ten months Chornomorsk port reduced the transshipment of export cargo by 2.1%, to 15.838 million tonnes compared to January-October 2019, import cargo by 30.3%, to 2.654 million tonnes, and coastal cargo by 71.3%, to 51,600 tonnes, but increased handling of transit cargo by 1.3%, to 892,260 tonnes.
Handling of bulk cargo in the seaport decreased by 11.7%, to 1.216 million tonnes, dry bulk cargo by 4.7%, to almost 13.749 million tonnes, and packaged goods by 14.9%, to 4.472 million tonnes.
Handling of containers amounted to 125,282 TEU (increased by 12.6%).
Chornomorsk seaport is a universal international port, one of the largest on the Black Sea. The enterprise has specialized terminals and complexes that allow handling a wide range of cargo: liquid, bulk, general. The seaport’s 29 berths are capable of receiving vessels with a carrying capacity of up to 100,000 tonnes. The port’s annual designed capacity is over 30 million tonnes.

CHORNOMORSK SEAPORT (ODESA REGION) REDUCES CARGO HANDLING

Chornomorsk seaport (Odesa region) in January-July 2020 reduced transshipment of cargo by 6.3% compared to the same period in 2019, to 13.298 million tonnes.
According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, over the seven months Chornomorsk port reduced transshipment of exported cargo by 2.3% compared to January-July 2019, to 10.809 million tonnes, imported by 24.3%, to 1.735 million tonnes, cabotage by 21.5 times, to 5,500 tonnes, and also increased transshipment of transit goods by 4.3%, to 748,800 tonnes.
Transshipment of liquid cargo in the port decreased by 5.3%, to 895,600 tonnes, dry bulk cargo by 3.1%, to 9.374 million tonnes, packaged cargo by 15.3%, to 3.028 million tonnes.
Transshipment of containers amounted to 87,477 TEU (up by 23.6%).
As reported, the volume of transshipment at Chornomorsk seaport in 2019 increased by 21.4% compared to 2018, to 26.153 million tonnes.

CHORNOMORSK SEAPORT INCREASES CARGO HANDLING BY 22%

Chornomorsk seaport (Odesa region) in January-November 2019 increased cargo transshipment by 21.8% compared to the same period in 2018, to 23.572 million tonnes.
According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, during this period Chornomorsk port increased transshipment of exported cargo by 22.4%, to 18.061 million tonnes, imported goods by 16.2%, to 4.4 million tonnes, transit cargo by 20.6%, to 933,710 tonnes, and also significantly increased transshipment of cabotage freight, by 4.1 times, to 200,570 tonnes.
Transshipment of liquid cargo in the port in January-November increased by 7.2%, to 1.510 million tonnes, dry bulk cargo by 23.9%, to 16.238 million tonnes, packaged goods by 20.6%, to 5.823 million tonnes.
Transshipment of containers amounted to 125,078 TEU (an increase of 11.2%).
As reported, the volume of transshipment at the port in 2018 rose by 25.02% compared to 2017, to 21.54 million tonnes.

CHORNOMORSK SEAPORT SEES 23.2% RISE IN CARGO HANDLING IN JAN-OCT

The Chornomorsk seaport (Odesa region) in January-October 2019 increased cargo handling by 23.2% year-over-year, to 21.051 million tonnes.
According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, during this period the port increased export transshipment by 24.4%, to 16.181 million tonnes, import transshipment by 15.9%, to 3.8 million tonnes, transit transshipment by 19.7%, to 881,230 tonnes, and also significantly raised transshipment of cabotage goods, almost by 3.7 times, to 179,750 tonnes.
Transshipment of liquid cargo in the port in January-October rose by 9.1%, to 1,377 tonnes, dry bulk cargo by 26.5%, to 14.42 million tonnes, packaged goods by 21.1%, to 5.253 million tonnes.
Transshipment of containers amounted to 111,279 TEU (an increase of 9%).
As reported, the volume of transshipment at the port in 2018 increased by 25.02% compared to 2017, to 21.54 million tonnes.

CHORNOMORSK SEAPORT INCREASES FREIGHT HANDLING BY 23% IN Q1

Chornomorsk seaport (Odesa region) in January-March 2019 increased cargo handling by 23.42% compared to the same period of 2018, to 6.366 million tonnes.
According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, during this period the port increased the handling of exported cargo by 37.25%, to 5.227 million tonnes, reduced the handling of imported cargo by 20.37%, to 851,150 tonnes and transit freight by 1.43%, to 277,000 tonnes, and also transshipped 11,240 tonnes of cabotage cargo.
In January-March 2019, liquid cargo handling at the port decreased by 4.17%, to 379,250 tonnes, dry bulk cargo handling increased by 31.34%, to 4.479 million tonnes, that of packaged goods by 11.51%, to 1.508 million tonnes.
Container handling in the first three months of this year amounted to 30,817 TEU (a decrease of 2.7%).

CHORNOMORSK SEAPORT INCREASES TRANSSHIPMENT OF GOODS BY 27%

Chornomorsk seaport (Odesa region) in January and February 2019 increased cargo handling by 27.32% compared with January and February 2018, to 3.993 million tonnes.
According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, in January and February 2019, Chornomorsk port increased the handling of exported cargo by 42.3%, to 3.311 million tonnes, imported cargo handling fell by 21.2%, to 521,540 tonnes, transit goods handling grew by 5.89%, to 155,900 tonnes, while the port handled 3,710 tonnes of coastal freight (no handling in January and February 2018).
Liquid cargo handling increased by 16.7%, to 269,050 tonnes, dry bulk cargo by 29.42%, to 2.67 million tonnes, packaged goods by 25.07%, to 1.053 million tonnes. Container handling amounted to 20,134 TEU (a decline of 2.97%).
As reported, the volume of transshipment in the port in 2018 rose by 25.02% compared with 2017, to 21.54 million tonnes.
