KMZ Industries built 160 thousand cubic meters of elevators in 2023

In 2023, KMZ Industries (Karlivka Machine-Building Plant, KMZ, Poltava region) fulfilled 46 contracts for the installation, supervision, consulting, and repair of equipment and built 160 thousand cubic meters of elevator capacity, the company’s press service reported on Facebook.

According to the report, this figure is almost in line with the results of pre-war 2021.

“In total, over the year, the company’s installation department managed to install so much equipment that it increased the elevator capacity of our indomitable country by 160 thousand cubic meters of storage,” the press service quoted Vyacheslav Stepanchuk, Director of Installation and Construction at KMZ Industries, as saying.

In addition, in 2023, KMZ Industries installed silos and grain dryers weighing more than 2,300 tons, transport equipment of 1.25 km, and gravity routes of about 1 km.

KMZ Industries manufactures flat-bottomed and conical-bottomed silos, flour storage silos, Brice-Baker (British-designed) and DSP (Ukrainian-designed) shaft grain dryers, transportation equipment (elevators, chain, belt and screw conveyors), grain cleaning separators, and installs and automates elevator equipment and technological processes at grain storage facilities.

Dragon Capital Investments Limited (Cyprus), whose ultimate beneficiary is Tomas Fiala, owns 80% of KMZ shares, while Variant Agro Bud LLC owns 20%.

KMZ INDUSTRIES CONTINUES TO WORK

KMZ Industries (Karlovsky Machine-Building Plant, Poltava region), continues to implement contracts for the supply of equipment in the conditions of the armed invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, now the company supplies products for granaries in Vinnytsia, Lviv and Cherkasy regions.
The implementation of existing and conclusion of new contracts in the current season is reported on the Facebook page of KMZ on Friday.
According to the company, silos and transport equipment are currently being delivered for the construction of a granary with a total capacity of 60,500 tonnes in Vinnytsia region.
“In Lviv region, we are completing connection to power lines and commissioning at a farm silo. It will be able to receive 3,000 tonnes of grain. In addition, next week we will complete the shipment of transport equipment with a capacity of 175 tonnes per hour to Cherkasy region,” KMZ Industries added.

KMZ INDUSTRIES TO SUPPLY EQUIPMENT FOR BATKIVSCHYNA FARM

KMZ Industries (Karlivka Machine Building Plant, Poltava region), a leading supplier of integrated solutions for grain storage and processing in Ukraine, in 2020 will provide Batkivschyna farm LLC (Chernihiv region) with transport equipment (conveyors and elevators) as part of the next expansion of the customer’s elevator capacity.
According to a press release from KMZ Industries, the agricultural enterprise with which the plant has been cooperating for the third year will be supplied with 13 chain conveyors with a total length of 300 meters and five bucket elevators with a capacity of 175 tonnes/hour with a total length of 198 meters.
According to the press service, in October of this year, KMZ Industries installed four grain storage silos for Batkivschyna out of the eight delivered by the plant back in 2017 with a total volume of 136,000 cubic meters of one-time storage (four more were installed at the end of 2019).
“This year Batkivschyna LLC has fixed a new record of wheat yield in our country at 10.1 tonnes/ha. And it will be stored in the silos of our production,” the press service said citing head of the regional office of KMZ Industries Vladyslav Perekhodko.
