AUSTRIAN CHANCELLOR TO VISIT UKRAINE

Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer said he would visit Ukraine to get an idea of the situation on the ground and talk about further assistance.
“I spoke with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky by phone yesterday. We discussed that I would go to Ukraine to get an idea of the situation on the ground and talk about further assistance,” Nehammer tweeted on Tuesday.

CAVUSOGLU VISITS UKRAINE

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu paid a visit to Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said.
“Welcomed my Turkish counterpart and friend Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ukraine. Turkey’s solidarity remains unwavering. Grateful for political and humanitarian support, as well as Turkey’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to put an end to Russia’s devastating war against Ukraine,” Kuleba said on Twitter on Thursday.

TODAY PRIME MINISTERS OF CZECH REPUBLIC, POLAND, SLOVENIA TO VISIT UKRAINIAN CAPITAL TODAY

Prime Ministers of the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia Piotr Fiala, Mateusz Morawiecki and Janez Janša, as well as Deputy Prime Minister of Poland Jarosław Kaczyński; will travel to Kyiv on Tuesday to meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and present a wide support package for Ukraine and its citizens, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said.
“Together with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczynski and Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša, we travel to Kyiv today as representatives of the Council of Europe to meet with President Zelensky and Prime Minister Shmyhal,” Fiala said on Twitter on Tuesday.
He said the visit was organized in consultation with European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
“The purpose of the visit is to express the EU’s unconditional support for Ukraine, its freedom and independence. At the same time, during the visit, we will present a broad support package for Ukraine and its citizens. The international community was also informed about this visit by international organizations, including the United Nations,” Fiala said.

JOSEP BORRELL PLANS TO VISIT UKRAINE

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, during his talks with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, confirmed his intention to visit Ukraine in the near future, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has said.
“Josep Borrell confirmed his intention to visit Ukraine in the near future at the invitation of Dmytro Kuleba, including a visit to Donbas,” the message posted on the website of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on Thursday says.
The minister informed the interlocutor in detail about the security situation in the temporarily occupied territories and along the state border of Ukraine, the threat of Russia’s preparation for a new wave of aggression against Ukraine.
Kuleba also called on the EU to accelerate work on the development of mechanisms for a comprehensive package of restraining the Russian Federation from further aggressive actions, including tough economic sanctions against Russia in the event of an expansion of aggression.
The Minister expressed gratitude to the EU for its long-term support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, efforts to strengthen the stability of the Ukrainian economy and enhance the security of Ukraine.

PENTAGON CHIEF TO VISIT UKRAINE AND GEORGIA NEXT WEEK

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin, during his visit to Georgia and Ukraine next week, will urge these countries to carry out the transformations necessary to qualify for NATO membership, the Pentagon has said.
“Austin will stress in both Georgia and Ukraine that there is an open door to NATO and encourage the nations to make the changes necessary for them to qualify for membership in the defensive alliance,” the U.S. Department of Defense has reported.
As reported, Austin will visit Romania and Belgium after Ukraine and Georgia. In Brussels, the head of the Pentagon will hold a meeting with the defense ministers of the NATO countries. According to the Pentagon, this meeting is expected to discuss Russia, as well as problems from China.
Earlier, the Pentagon said Austin was going on a trip to Europe that weekend. In Georgia, he will meet with Prime Minister of this country Irakli Garibashvili and Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze, and in Ukraine with President Volodymyr Zelensky and Defense Minister Andriy Taran.
In Romania he will meet with President Klaus Iohannis and Defense Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca.

UKRAINIAN PRESIDENT TO VISIT UK

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit the UK at the end of October, and a strategic dialogue meeting is planned during the visit, Ukrainian Ambassador to UK Vadym Prystaiko has said.
“In the near future, we expect a delegation led by the president (Volodymyr Zelensky). At the end of this month,” Prystaiko said in an interview with Dom TV channel.
He noted that a meeting is planned during the visit, at which a strategic dialogue will take place.
