President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived on a two-day working visit to Germany.
According to the presidential press service, Zelensky will hold a number of meetings, in particular with Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
A meeting is also planned with Head of the Christian Democratic Union, Minister-President of North Rhine-Westphalia Armin Laschet.
The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) have renewed a memorandum of understanding.
“The U.S. FBI and Ukraine’s NABU renewed a memorandum of understanding that will continue cooperation on cases relevant to both countries. Crime and corruption is transnational. Law enforcement must be as well,” the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine said on Twitter.
The Dobrobut medical network invested more than UAH 300 million in equipment in 2020, plans to increase the volume of investments in 2021, chief operating officer of the network Vadym Shekman has said.
“We want our doctors to work on high-quality equipment. In 2020 we invested more than UAH 300 million in equipment, in 2021, I think, there will be even more,” he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
He noted that the shareholders of the company decided not to distribute dividends.
“The company does not withdraw money, we invest all the money that Dobrobut earns and additional investments in development. Most likely, we will not slow down this pace in the next 3-4 years,” he said.
The arrears of the population of Ukraine on payment for housing and communal services decreased by 7.6% in May 2021 versus April and amounted to UAH 61.6 billion (excluding electricity).
According to the State Statistics Service, in general, in May, Ukrainians paid UAH 17.1 billion for housing services, which amounted to 146.2% of the amount charged for that month.
The debt for the supplied electricity in May amounted to UAH 7.3 billion.
The highest level of payment for housing services was recorded in Ternopil (177.9% of the amount accrued, due to the repayment of debts of previous periods), Cherkasy (153.9%), Donetsk (153.4%) regions and Kyiv (170.3%).
The lowest level of payment is in Kirovograd, Volyn and Kherson regions (113% to 120% of the amount of charges).
According to the State Statistics Service, from the beginning of 2021, some 22,700 agreements have been concluded with the population on the repayment of restructured debt for housing services for a total of UAH 187.1 million. The amount of payments made, taking into account long-term contracts, amounted to UAH 106.2 million.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet on Monday evening, July 12, during a dinner, according to the website of the German government.
“Chancellor Angela Merkel will welcome President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a dinner at the Federal Chancellery on July 12, 2021 at 19:00 [20:00 Kyiv time],” it said.
It is noted that the topics of a joint discussion will be bilateral relations, the implementation of the Minsk Agreements on the settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, the process of Ukrainian reforms, as well as economic issues and relations with Russia.
According to an announcement on the website of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, a conversation between German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Zelensky is scheduled for 10:00 (11:00 Kyiv time).
Earlier, Zelensky said that during his working visit to Germany on July 12, he intends to discuss with German Chancellor Angela Merkel the topic of energy security in the context of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline construction.
