PJSC “Trybushany Marble Quarry” (Zakarpattia region) produced and sold more than 5 thousand tons of marble products in 2023. This was reported to NADRA.INFO by the company.
“We are the only official enterprise that has a permit for marble mining. The main product of the quarry is light-colored marble chips, which are used in construction, manufacturing and landscape design. Over the past year, more than 5,000 tons of material have been extracted and sold,” the company said.
The total amount of taxes paid by the quarry in 2023 amounted to UAH 1,517,463.
PJSC “Trybushany Marble Quarry” holds a special permit No. 2561 for the extraction of marble from the Trybushanske deposit (the special permit is valid until 2031, the deposit has been developed since 1947). This is indeed the only valid special permit for marble mining in Ukraine.
The company produces the following products:
Cube-shaped marble chips (10 product names of different colors and fractions from 0.2 to 8 mm);
Marble crushed stone (traditional products of different colors and fractions from 5 to 20 mm);
Marble sand (decorative marble sand of different colors with a fraction of 2.5-5 mm);
Marble screenings (two grades of screenings with a fraction of 0 to 2.5 mm);
Marble rubble stone (large marble blocks from 100 to 500 mm);
Marble flour (white and creamy gray 50 and 200 microns).
The company says that the owners of the company are actively involved in the community, helping municipal and state-owned enterprises, the local school in Dilove village. The local football club Karpaty (Rakhiv, Zakarpattia region) also receives regular support. “In addition, constant assistance is provided to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fight the Russian aggressor: together with our partners, we sent 5 vehicles and medical supplies to the front,” says the Marble Quarry Tribushany.
Since the fourth quarter of 2023, 75.39% of the shares of Trybushany Marble Quarry PJSC have been owned by Marble Mining Company LLC owned by Leono Alexandru (Romania), who has been the company’s ultimate beneficial owner since January 2024. 12% of the quarry’s shares are owned by Mykola Kovtun (Ukraine). Oleksandr Munteanu, a representative of the shareholder, director of Foray Capital LLC (Kiev), has been elected as the head of the Supervisory Board of VGP JSC (Lutsk), the managing company of a large producer of sanitary-hygienic paper products under Ruta TM.
According to the publication of VGP JSC in the disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and Stock Market (NCSSM), such decision was made by its nabsovet at the meeting on April 30, after the decision of the sole shareholder – the company Tissico Limited (Cyprus) Munteanu was introduced to the nabsovet instead of the former head of the SB Konstantin Shevchenko.
The other members of the Board – Natalia Miretskaya and Kamil Gotza – were re-elected by the shareholder’s decision for a new two-year term.
The company produces sanitary and hygienic products based on cellulose from imported base paper.
It is among the three largest Ukrainian producers of these products.
VGP’s brand portfolio includes napkins, toilet paper, paper handkerchiefs, kitchen towels. The assortment includes more than 180 items.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has fined PJSC IC Arsenal Insurance (Kiev) for 255 thousand UAH for violation of requirements in the sphere of financial monitoring. As reported on the regulator’s website, the measure was applied for violation of the requirements of the law “On prevention and counteraction to legalization (laundering) of proceeds of crime, financing of terrorism and financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction” (VAT/FT). In particular, the company was fined for improper fulfillment of the obligation to develop and implement internal documents, as well as for insufficient customer due diligence, including failure to verify clients in accordance with the procedure established by law.
In addition, the fine has been imposed for non-implementation of additional measures in the proper verification of the client, the ultimate beneficial owner of which is a politically exposed person, and insufficient application of risk-oriented approach, including improper fulfillment of the obligation to carry out an assessment of risks inherent in its activities.

Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk has signed a decree on the admission of journalists to the parliament building under martial law.
According to the press service of the Verkhovna Rada, the decree allows media representatives to cover the activities of parliament directly in the premises of the legislative body.
The order approves the regulation “On accreditation of media at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation for the period of martial law in Ukraine”.
Stefanchuk and the head of the parliamentary staff Vyacheslav Shtuchny met with journalists and informed them about the peculiarities of media work in the press center of the Verkhovna Rada, in particular, about actions during the announcement of an air alert. The media representatives were shown the simplest shelter of the parliament building, where they will be obliged to go down during an air alert.
Stefanchuk said that despite the restrictions during martial law, it is important for journalists to be able to cover the activities of the legislative body. He also informed that given the need to comply with security requirements, a maximum of 30 people can work in the press center.
