PrJSC Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) has created a branch “MHP Logistics” (Kyiv), the company said in the disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
“The functions that the branch will perform include all types of cargo transportation by road,” the company said.
According to the company, the decision to create the branch was made by the Supervisory Board of MHP on December 21, 2020.
MHP is the largest chicken producer in Ukraine. It is also engaged in the production of cereals, sunflower oil, meat products. MHP supplies the European market with chilled half-carcasses of chickens, which are processed, including at its factories in the Netherlands and Slovakia.
Ukraine in January-September 2020 increased gross natural gas consumption by 3.7% (by 710 million cubic meters) compared to the same period in 2019, to 20.01 billion cubic meters, according to the data of the quarterly monitoring of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC).
According to the calculations of the Interfax-Ukraine agency, in the third quarter of this year, consumption increased by 13.6% (by 520 million cubic meters) compared to July-September 2019, to 4.35 billion cubic meters.
The use of natural gas by household consumers for the nine months of 2020 amounted to 5.31 billion cubic meters, which is 6% less than in the same period last year.
Thus, the share of household consumers in the overall structure of gross consumption for the nine months of 2020 amounted to 26.5% against 29.3% in January-September 2019.
As reported with reference to the NEURC data, Ukraine in 2019 reduced gross natural gas consumption by 6% compared to 2018, to 28.29 billion cubic meters. Consumption of natural gas by household consumers in 2019 decreased by 21.6% compared to 2018, to 8.33 billion cubic meters.
Ukraine is holding negotiations with China on the delivery of a coronavirus vaccine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.
“[China says] that they stand ready to supply it. The Health Ministry has concrete information, and we are helping them now in order to facilitate certain contacts between representatives of the Health Ministry and representatives of the [vaccine] producer,” Kuleba told the Ukraine 24 TV channel on Thursday.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Concept of economic development of Donetsk and Luhansk regions until 2030.
The relevant decision was made at the Wednesday government meeting.
The purpose of the document is to determine the conceptual approaches and main directions of the strategy for the economic development of Donbas for the creation of regulatory, institutional and organizational conditions for the formation and development of the economy of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
According to the concept, the reboot of Donbas economy will take place in two stages: firstly, under current conditions in the controlled territory of the regions, secondly, throughout Donetsk and Luhansk regions after reintegration.
According to Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, these territories require additional incentives that will create an attractive platform for involving investments.
In particular, this is about development in the direction of the real sector of the economy, industrialization, the development of critical infrastructure and logistics.
