The Serbian government has decided to transfer humanitarian aid to Ukraine in connection with the disaster in the Kherson region, which emerged after the Kakhov hydroelectric power plant was blown up, RTS reported citing the Serbian government.
“The new tranche of humanitarian aid(…) will include, among other things, the donation of goods and medicines from the Republican Directorate of Commodity Reserves and goods from the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration,” the report published on Saturday said.
In addition, the Series decided to approve temporary protection to receive citizens of Ukraine who were affected by the disaster in the Kherson region.
Also, as an additional form of support, the Serbian government decided to organize this summer a sports and rehabilitation camp for youth and children’s teams of Dynamo Football Academy from Kyiv. It is noted that funds were allocated for the organization of the summer camp, covering the costs of accommodation, food, training and soccer matches.
