The State Migration Service states that since January 2016, Ukrainians have already drawn up 4 million ID cards.
“Friends, today the four millionth ID card has been personalized. This means that already 4 million Ukrainian citizens have drawn up new-type documents that meet modern international security standards. The Migration Service has issued such a number of ID cards since January 2016, from the beginning of the issuance of biometric documents in Ukraine,” the agency said.
The Migration Service notes that recently ID-cards are gaining more and more popularity, “more and more often not only young people want it, but also older people.”
