KYIV. June 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Airbus (France), one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world, jointly with the State Aviation Service of Ukraine plan to organize a training platform for aviation specialists in Kyiv.
According to the service, the initiative was discussed on May 27 during a meeting with the regional director for flight safety at Airbus, Yuriy Chekanov. The parties discussed support for the safe operation of Airbus aircraft in Ukraine, conducting conferences, seminars, training and other events for state inspectors and operators.
Chekanov, in particular, said Airbus plans to take part in national courses for internal investigation into operational events on the basis of the ICAO European regional training center for training of state inspectors for flight safety and airworthiness. State Aviation Service representatives proposed expanding the list of trainings to further establish a regional training platform in Kyiv for aviation specialists from Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and the Baltic countries.
