PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region), in January-October of this year increased production of rolled goods, according to recent data, by 10.5% compared to the same period last year, to 3.84 million tonnes.
A representative of the enterprise told Interfax-Ukraine that steel production in the ten months increased by 18%, to 4.59 million tonnes, pig iron by 20%, to 4.53 million tonnes.
At the same time, sinter production rose by 19%, to 8.3 million tonnes, iron ore concentrate by 5%, to 8.2 million tonnes, coke by 6%, to 2.37 million tonnes, but decreased iron ore output by 1.5%, to 745,000 tonnes.
About 400,000 tonnes of rolled products, 450,000 tonnes of steel, 465,000 tonnes of pig iron, 900,000 tonnes of sinter, 70,000 tonnes of iron ore, 810,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, and 245,000 tonnes of coke were produced in October.
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is the largest producer of rolled steel in Ukraine.
