The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the budget of the Social Insurance Fund for 2018 with a surplus of UAH 1 billion.
According to government resolution No. 70 of February 14, the budget of the Social Insurance Fund was approved with a revenue part of UAH 23 billion, while its expenditure part amounts to UAH 22 billion. In particular, the revenue part together with the balance of funds at the beginning of the year was UAH 22.884 billion.
The expenditure part includes material security and social services for UAH 11.8 billion, insurance payments of UAH 8.3 billion, insurance costs for medical and social assistance for UAH 600 million, prevention of insurance cases for UAH 22.6 million, expenses associated with the performance of the insurer’s duties for UAH 69.6 million, expenses for the development and functioning of the fund’s information and analytical systems for UAH 33 million, administrative and business expenses of UAH 1.2 billion.
The reserve of funds is UAH 284.9 million.
It is noted that the adopted budget will allow transferring the amount of monthly insurance payments to victims at work, modernizing (recalculating) such payments for the period of 2008-2011, providing financing for medical rehabilitation of insured persons.
