The Verkhovna Rada intends to introduce electronic registration of place of residence for Ukrainians.
Some 251 MPs voted at the first reading for relevant bill No. 5463 on the implementation of public electronic services for registration and declaration of residence in Ukraine at an extraordinary plenary session of parliament on Thursday.
The bill proposes to declare place of residence online using the single state portal Diia.
According to the bill, in the case of declaring or registering a place of residence according to a declaration (application) filed in electronic form, enrollment, deregistration of conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists is carried out by the corresponding district (city) territorial centers of recruitment and social support based on information about a conscript/person liable for military service/reservist in electronic form, sent by the registration authorities through the unified information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the Unified State Register of conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists.
A new runway of Odessa International Airport from July 16 began to accept aircraft, the first board to land on the runway was internal flight PQ107 from Boryspil to Odessa of SkyUp Airlines.
“The new runway is the starting point of a new era, our airport is beginning to transform into a powerful air hub in Eastern Europe,” Director of Odessa International Airport Volodymyr Semenchenko said during the opening ceremony of the development concept.
According to his forecasts, after last year’s drop in passenger traffic, Odessa airport expects to accept 1.45 million people in 2021, and reach 4 million in 2026.
The length of the new runway is 2.8 km, the width is 45 meters, construction work lasted 31 months. The accompanying infrastructure was also built: two steering lanes, a modern navigation system for landing, an apron in front of the new terminal, four bridges for boarding and disembarking passengers.
For the first time in Eastern Europe, the technology of “heavy” concrete with a thickness of 40 cm was used, due to which the strength and capacity of the strip was doubled.
According to Semenchenko, after extending the strip up to 3.2 km, the airport will be able to accept E class aircraft, which operate long-haul flights.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Peruvian Ambassador to Poland and Ukraine concurrently Alberto Efrain Wilfredo Salas Barahona signed an Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Peru on the abolition of visa requirements for short-term stays.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the signing took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Thursday, July 15.
Thus, the agreement introduces a mutual visa-free travel regime for citizens of Ukraine and Peru for up to 90 days within 180 days.
“Expansion of visa-free travel from Peru will increase the number of contacts between people, will contribute to new cultural, professional, business contacts between our countries,” Kuleba said.
The parties also discussed promising areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Peru.
The agreement will enter into force after the parties complete the necessary domestic procedures. For citizens of Ukraine, there will remain the possibility of visa-free tourist trips to Peru for up to 183 days, which the Republic of Peru introduced by a unilateral decision in 2003.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine allowed to store the undiluted vaccine against COVID-19 Comirnaty produced by Pfizer-BioNTech at temperatures from + 2°C to + 8°C for a month instead of five days, the ministry said on its official website.
The Ministry of Health received the corresponding letter from Pfizer Export B.V. with a request to review the requirements for the cold chain of the Comirnaty vaccine on June 24, 2021. The company turned to regulators after a series of new studies.
The European Medicines Agency, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency and the relevant authorities of other countries have also changed the storage requirements for the vaccine.
The Verkhovna Rada intends to amend the law on the protection of public morals regarding the protection of the rights and interests of children.
A total of 343 MPs voted for the corresponding bill No. 5330-1 at the first reading.
The bill, in particular, proposes to prohibit creation and distribution of photos and/or videos of sexual or erotic images of children (the current law prohibits the use of images of children in any form only in products of a sexual or erotic nature).
According to the bill, products of a sexual or erotic nature can be distributed only if they are not available to children and are not imposed on consumers.
