KYIV. July 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Two enterprises producing milk and dairy foods and fish and fish foods have been licensed to export their produce to the European Union market from July 7, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said.
Now 283 Ukrainian enterprises have the right to ship their produce to the EU countries, of which 103 are producers of food, including poultry, fish, honey, eggs, milk and dairy, the ministry said on its website.
The EU can also export 180 enterprises producing non-food products of animal origin, down and feather raw materials, skins, fodder for pets, non-edible offal, pedigree materials, and other non-food products of animal origin.
KHARKIV. July 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, the owner and president of DCH group of companies, has announced the purchase of a 100% stake in INGO Ukraine insurance company (Kyiv).
“Some 100% of the shares have been bought. The shares are in the process of registration,” Yaroslavsky told reporters in Kharkiv.
As reported, in May DCH completed formal procedures for closing a deal to purchase a 25% stake in INGO Ukraine insurer. Subsequently, DCH intended to increase its stake in the company to 100%.
KYIV. July 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Intergal-Bud construction company (Kyiv) plans to start building five new residential complexes in Kyiv in July-September 2017, Deputy Commercial Director Hanna Layevska has said.
“Now nine residential complexes are being built in Kyiv. By the end of this year we plan to have 14 complexes. In July-September we intend to start building five more new projects and launch sales in them,” she said at a press conference in Kyiv.
The company’s press service reported that the number of apartments in new residential complexes will be over 4,800, and their gross area would be over 300,000 square meters. Construction of the complexes would be finished by May 2020.
The company said that in 2017, Intergal-Bud plans to commission over 250,000 square meters of housing (2,115 apartments in 22 houses) in eight residential complexes in Kyiv, which is 25% more than in 2016.
Intergal-Bud construction company LLC was founded in 2006. It is subsidiary of Lviv subsidiary established in 2003.
As of July 2017, the company has realized residential and commercial property projects with gross area of around 1.5 million square meters in Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Chernivtsi, Zhytomyr, Yuzhgorod and Mukachevo.
The company’s portfolio includes promising projects at the design stage with gross area of around 2.5 million square meters.
KYIV. July 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine as of July 7 had threshed 2.1 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops from 683,000 hectares (7% of the target).
According to the press service of the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry, average yield is 31 centners per ha.
Some 615,000 tonnes of winter wheat were threshed on 196,000 ha with the yield of 31.4 centners per ha.
Some 1.3 million tonnes of winter barley were threshed on 414,000 ha with the yield of 32.3 centners per ha and 400 tonnes of rye on 100 ha with the yield of 31.5 centners per ha.
Around 171,000 tonnes of peas were harvested from 73,000 ha with the yield of 23.3 centners per ha.
Some 83,000 tonnes of rapeseeds were harvested from 41,000 ha with the yield of 20.2 centners per ha.
The ministry said that 16 regions started harvesting grain.
As reported, grain harvest in Ukraine in 2016 totaled some 66 million tonnes, according to the State Statistics Service.
KYIV. July 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The State Agency for Managing the Exclusion Zone has leased land parcels of 3.4 ha and 1.7 ha to Ecosolar Invest LLC (Vinnytsia) and Solar Chornobyl (Kyiv) to build solar power plants on them, according to the materials posted on the government’s website.
The land parcels are leased for the period of 49 years.
Ecosolar Invest received a concrete car parking lot in Chornobyl, and Solar Chornobyl received a part of the concrete site near the second stage switchgear facility in Pripiat.
According to the state agency, Ecosolar Invest already operates one solar power plant in Ukraine with an installed capacity of 3 MW.
According to the public register, Ecosolar Invest belongs to Oleksandr Labensky and Batima Babich. The son of Babich – Dmytro – was previously a deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council (the faction of the Party of Regions). He headed the Environmental Protection Administration in Vinnytsia region.
The only beneficiary of Solar Chornobyl, according to the public register, is Yevhen Variahin, a former solar project manager for Activ Solar (controlled by the Kliuyev brothers).
The State Agency for Managing the Exclusion Zone said that Solar Chornobyl is a joint project of the Enerparc AG and Rodina Energy Group consortium.
KYIV. July 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrenergo has announced a tender for the technical re-equipment of the 750 kV Vinnytsia substation with an expected cost of up to UAH 510.562 million (excluding VAT).
According to a company report in the ProZorro system, tender proposals are accepted until August 4, the start of the auction is scheduled for September 11, 2017.
Work on the modernization of the substation should be completed by September 30, 2018.
In the course of modernization, in particular, it is necessary to replace a three-phase autotransformer and a transverse regulation transformer, as well as switches, arresters, cables, and others.
The company notes the autotransformer was put into operation simultaneously with the substation in 1975 and requires replacement for a new one.
Ukrenergo operates trunk and interstate power grids, as well as centralized dispatching of the united power system in the country. It is a state enterprise, subordinated to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry.
