Huawei Ukraine seeks to increase its share of the Ukrainian information and communication technology market (ICT) from 1% to 10%, the press service of the company has told Interfax-Ukraine, referring to Huawei Ukraine Head Haojie Zhou. “Ukrainian enterprises are ready to introduce modern ICT. We set ambitious goals – to occupy 10% of the market in a year,” he said at the first Enterprise Day annual partner meeting in Kyiv on Tuesday.
The company said as of late 2017 they assess the ICT market in Ukraine in the amount from $100 million to $200 million, and their share of the market at over 1%.
Huawei is a large Chinese communication company and a large smartphone manufacturer in the world. It was founded in China in 1987.
Huawei Ukraine was registered in 2005.
