1,489 electric vehicles replenished the Ukrainian car fleet in August, which is almost twice as much as in the same month of 2022, but 14% less than in July of the current year, Ukravtoprom reports.
According to a statement on the association’s website on Wednesday, the majority of registered electric vehicles were passenger cars – 1,397 units. (152 new and 1245 used).
Nissan Leaf remains the most popular electric car with 297 registrations in August, Volkswagen ID.4 is second with 154, and Volkswagen e-Golf is third with 150.
The fourth most popular electric car was Renault Zoe – 97 units, and the Tesla Model 3 closed the TOP-5 of the August electric car market, with 60 registrations.
Of the 92 commercial electric vehicles that received Ukrainian numbers last month, 40 units. there were Renault Kangoo Z.E.
In general, in January-August, 7,366 electric vehicles passed the first registration in Ukraine, which is 42% more than in the same period in 2021.
As reported, in 2021, 8,872 electric vehicles were registered in Ukraine for the first time, which is 19% more than a year earlier, the share of new cars increased to 14% compared to 9%.
