KHARKIV TRACTOR PLANT MEETS PRODUCTION TARGET FOR H1 2017 – OWNER

11 July , 2017

KHARKIV. July 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Public joint-stock company Kharkiv Tractor Plant in January-June 2017 met the tractor production target for the period, the owner of the enterprise and President of DCH Group Oleksandr Yaroslavsky has said.
“Of course, [the target is met]. Around 500 tractors have been made,” Yaroslavsky told reporters in Kharkiv last week.
He said that after a long idle period Kharkiv Tractor Plant lost markets and now it is working on restoring them.
“We are wining them back. In a year all the markets were lost, all 100%. Imported analogs occupied Ukraine,” he said, expressing hope that the annual target will be met.
“We will try. We will do what we have promised,” he said.
As reported, Kharkiv Tractor Plant resumed operations early February 2017 after a 10 month idle period. A total of 302 tractors were made from February through April.
Yaroslavsky said that the plant intends to produce 150 tractors every month. Some 30% of products will be supplied to the domestic market and the rest of the tractors – to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Iran.
