Nikolay Nenchev, who was appointed interim head of our embassy in Kyiv, is in Ukraine.
This was reported by the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry in the program “Around the World and at Home”.
The decision of the interim Cabinet of Ministers to send the former defense minister to Ukraine provoked a strong reaction and disagreement from President Rumen Radev.
Bulgaria recognized Ukraine on December 5, 1991. On December 13, 1991, Ukraine and Bulgaria established diplomatic relations.
