SALAMANDRA INSURANCE COMPANY COLLECTED UAH 78.857 MILLION IN GROSS PREMIUMS IN JANUARY-SEPTEMBER 2020

Salamandra insurance company (formerly DIM Insurance, Dnipro) collected UAH 78.857 million in gross premiums in January-September 2020, which is 11.5% more compared to the same period in 2019.
According to the company’s report in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, the volume of net premiums amounted to UAH 77.762 million (a rise of 59.2%).
Premiums in the amount of UAH 3.720 million were transferred to reinsurance, which is 61.5% less than in the same period in 2019.
Over the reporting period, the insurer’s payments increased 37.6%, to UAH 36.307 million.
Net profit of Salamandra in January-September 2020 amounted to UAH 157,000, while for the same period a year earlier it was UAH 108 thousand
According to the official report, the company’s administrative expenses amounted to UAH 16.086 million, which is 34.7% more.
Salamandra insurance company is part of the non-banking financial group Salamandra, the ultimate beneficiary and owner of which is Yuriy Yavtushenko.
