The total wage arrears in Ukraine in August of this year fell by 0.8%, since the beginning of the year it grew by 50.4% and by September 1 amounted to UAH 3.929 billion, the State Statistics Service has said.
According to its data, the amount of wage arrears at enterprises that stopped filing reports during 2019-2020 amounted to UAH 158.4 million on the same date.
According to the statistics department, the increase in wage arrears in August 2021 was recorded in Chernihiv (by 57.7%), Vinnytsia (by 34.1%), Volyn (by 11.55), Ivano-Frankivsk (by 9.1%, Kirovohrad (by 8.4%), Cherkasy (by 6, 4%), Ternopil (5.6%), Rivne (3.6%), Dnipropetrovsk (3.4%), Zhytomyr (3%) regions and Kyiv city (5.7%).
At the same time, the decrease in wage arrears was seen in Luhansk (by 39.4%), Lviv (by 24.4%), Poltava (by 13.3%), Khmelnytsky (by 10.9%), Odesa (by 8.2%), Chernivtsi (by 7, 6%), Kyiv (7.1%), Zakarpattia (6.8%), Zaporizhia (4.9%), Kherson (2.2%) and Mykolaiv (0.4%) regions.
The State Statistics Service said that among sectors in August 2021, wage arrears in financial and insurance activities grew by 1.8 times (to UAH 4.133 million), in healthcare they grew by 21.1% (to UAH 131.3 million), in the field of temporary accommodation and catering – by 14.6% (to UAH 2.346 million), arts, sports and recreation – by 10.4% (to UAH 1.955 million), in construction – by 3.1% (to UAH 87.471 million), in real estate transactions – by 2.3% (to UAH 39.4 million) UAH), wholesale and retail trade – by 1.8% (to UAH 37, 352 million), in the field of information and telecommunications – by 1.7% (to UAH 15.897 million), administrative activities – by 1.4% (to UAH 17.359 million), at transport, warehousing and courier enterprises – by 1% (to UAH 218.442 million).
At the same time, in the provision of other types of services, salary arrears decreased by 31.1% (to UAH 2.920 million), in education – by 17.2% (to UAH 16.934 million), in public administration and defense – by 16.5% (to UAH 5.468 million), in agriculture – by 11.3% (to UAH 61.350 million), in professional and scientific activities – by 5.9% (to UAH 310.227 million), and in industrial enterprises – by 0.9% (to UAH 2.976 billion).
The total wage arrears in Ukraine in May of this year fell by 6.1%, and as of June 1, 2021 amounted to UAH 3.351 billion, and since early 2021 they grew by 28.3%, the State Statistics Service said last week.
According to the service, the amount of wage arrears at enterprises that stopped filing reports during 2019-2020 amounted to UAH 166.1 million on the same date.
As reported by the statistics authority, a reduction in wage arrears in May 2021 was recorded in Luhansk (by 73.7%), Volyn (by 49%), Lviv (by 21.7%), Donetsk (by 17.5%), Kirovohrad (by 9.5%) and Chernihiv (by 2.9%) regions.
At the same time, an increase in wage arrears was seen in Khmelnytska (by 36.8%), Zakarpattia (by 19.8%), Cherkaska (by 14.5%), Kherson (by 12.7%), Zaporizhia (by 12.6%), Ivano-Frankivsk (by 11.7%), Vinnytsia (11.3%), Zhytomyr (10.5%), Rivne (8.3%), Dnipropetrovsk (7.4%), Kyiv and Ternopil (6.4%) %), Odesa (5.2%) regions and Kyiv city (0.7%).
The State Statistics Service said that among economic sectors in May 2021, wage arrears grew in in the field of administrative and support services – by 21.9% (to UAH 17.93 million), financial and insurance activities – by 20% (to UAH 0.23 million), agriculture – by12.9% (to UAH 74.52 million), in real estate transactions – by 12.5% (to UAH 41.04 million), education – by 12.5% (to UAH 20.59 million), in wholesale and retail trade – by 11% (to UAH 40.26 million), professional, scientific and technical activities – by 7% (to UAH 274.27 million), at transport, warehouse and courier enterprises – by 4.8% (to UAH 193.72 million), in the field of informatization and telecommunications – by 4.2% (to UAH 15.91 million), and construction – by 2.4% (to UAH 84.14 million).
At the same time, in the field of art, sports, entertainment and recreation, wage arrears decreased 10% (to UAH 1.74 million), in industry – 9.6% (to UAH 2.506 billion), in the field of temporary accommodation and catering 7.7% (to UAH 1.89 million), healthcare – 3.7% (to UAH 69.72 million), public administration, defense and compulsory social insurance – 2.3% (to UAH 5.38 million).
The total wage arrears in Ukraine in November increased by 5.8% and as of December 1, 2020 amounted to UAH 4.011 billion, the State Statistics Service has reported.
According to its data, last month the amount of wage arrears to employees of economically active enterprises rose by 7.9% and as of December 1 of this year amounted to UAH 2.725 billion.
The statistics agency reported that a reduction in wage arrears in November 2020 was recorded in Kherson (by 21.1%), Rivne (by 2.5%), Zhytomyr (by 2.4%), Zaporizhia (by 1.3%), Dnipropetrovsk (0.9%) regions and Kyiv (6.3%).
At the same time, an increase in wage arrears was observed in Lviv (by 40.2%), Luhansk (by 40%), Zakarpattia (by 38.3%), Chernivtsi (by 36.5%), Volyn (by 24.1%), Kirovohrad (by 19.7%), Donetsk (by 10%), Ivano-Frankivsk (by 8.1%), Ternopil (by 7.1%), Khmelnytsky (by 4.9%), Chernihiv (by 4.7%), Poltava (by 4.6%), Vinnytsia (by 2.9%), Odesa (by 2.3%), Cherkasy (by 1.9%), Sumy (by 1.3%), Mykolaiv (1.2%), and Kyiv (0.3%) regions.
The State Statistics Service clarifies that in terms of sectors during the specified period, wage arrears decreased in the field of arts, sports and entertainment by 6.8% (to UAH 590,000), in the field of administrative and support services by 2.4% (to UAH 17.126 million), agriculture by 2% (to UAH 56.093 million), at transport, storage and courier enterprises by 1.5% (up to UAH 318.646 million), in the field of public administration and defense, mandatory social insurance by 0.3% (to UAH 5.285 million).
Wage arrears in November this year increased in provision of other types of services by 2.6 times (to UAH 1.44 million), in education by 8.9% (to UAH 17.364 million), healthcare by 8.3% (to UAH 46.892 million), at industrial enterprises by 7.1% (to UAH 3.01 billion), in wholesale and retail trade by 6.8% (to UAH 39.764 million), in the field of temporary accommodation and catering by 4.8% (to UAH 12.86 million), real estate transactions by 4.2% (to UAH 56.636 million), in the field of information and telecommunications by 4.1% (to UAH 10.919 million), in the field of professional, scientific and technical activities by 2.8% (to UAH 267.301 million), construction by 1.5% (up to UAH 49.107 million), in financial and insurance activities by 0.3% (to UAH 10.824 million).
Total wage arrears in Ukraine in April 2019 increased by 6.2%, and as of May 1, 2019 amounted to UAH 2.615 billion, the State Statistics Service has reported.
According to its data, in April 2019 the amount of wage arrears at economically active enterprises increased by 10.6% and as of May 1, 2019 amounted to UAH 1.416 billion.
The decline in wage arrears in April 2019 were recorded in Khmelnytsky (by 14.2%), Zhytomyr (by 2.6%), Poltava (by 2.2%) and Mykolaiv (by 0.9%) regions.
The growth of wage arrears was seen in Lviv (by 75.3%), Chernivtsi (by 49%), Kherson (by 18.1%), Ternopil (by 17.2%), Dnipropetrovsk (by 13.3%), Vinnytsia (by 10.9% ), Zakarpattia (by 8.1%), Chernihiv (by 7.7%), Donetsk (by 6.9%), Cherkasy (by 5.7%), Sumy (by 4.9%), Zaporizhia (by 3.6%), Odesa (by 3.3%), Kharkiv (by 3.2%), Rivne (by 2.1%), Luhansk (by 2%) regions and Kyiv city (by 10.3%).
The State Statistics Service said that in April 2019, the wage arrears decreased in the field of administrative and support services – by 10.8% (to UAH 8.59 million); temporary accommodation and catering – by 10.5% (to UAH 0.365 million); construction – by 3.1% (to UAH 70.07 million); in the woodworking industry – by 2.5% (to UAH 13.948 million), the chemical industry – by 2.2% (to UAH 80.904 million) and food production – by 0.8% (to UAH 92.317 million).
The debt in the sphere of in the arts, sports, entertainment and recreation increased almost twice (to UAH 1.85 million), IT and telecom – by 50.7% (to UAH 5.92 million), health care – by 21% (up to UAH 13.62 million); education – by 18.2% (to UAH 7.61 million); in the mining and quarrying industry – by 14.7% (to UAH 526.129 million); professional, scientific and technical activities – by 12.9% (to UAH 128.76 million); textile production – by 10.7% (to UAH 6.027 million); agriculture – by 9.5% (to UAH 21.85 million); in the sphere of residential services – by 8.9% (up to 113.69 million UAH); in engineering – by 5% (to UAH 943.93 million); the production of rubber and plastic products – by 4.9% (to UAH 30.326 million); in the sphere of wholesale and retail trade – by 4.3% (to UAH 43.96 million); real estate operations – by 2.8% (to UAH 57.98 million); financial and insurance activities – by 2.3% (to UAH 18.34 million); transport – by 1.7% (to UAH 177.51 million); state administration and defense, compulsory social insurance – by 1.2% (to UAH 3.79 million).
The total amount of wage arrears in Ukraine in November 2018 decreased by 2.2%, since early 2018 it grew by 19%, and as of December 1, 2018 amounted to UAH 2.819 billion, the State Statistics Service has said.
According to its data, in November 2018, wage arrears at economically active enterprises decreased by 4.4% and on December 1, 2018 amounted to UAH 1.621 billion.
The decline of wage arrears was recorded in Chernivtsi (by 38.4%), Zakarpattia (26.8%), Khmelnytsky (22.5%), Cherkasy (14.1%), Vinnytsia (11.7%), Ivano-Frankivsk (by 10.5%), Rivne (7.3%), Zaporizhia (6.9%) regions and the city of Kyiv (5.5%).
At the same time, wage arrears in November 2018 increased in Kherson (by 30.2%), Zhytomyr (23.2%), Volyn (14.3%), Ternopil (10.3%), Sumy (5.7%), Kyiv (4.9%) and Poltava (4.3%) regions.
According to the statistics service, in November 2018 arrears in payment of wages increased in the sphere of accommodations and catering by 28.5%, to UAH 4.163 million, arts, sports, entertainment and recreation – by 14.2%, to UAH 0.69 million, education – by 14.6%, to UAH 10.114 million, in the wholesale and retail trade – by 8.6%, to UAH 28.759 million, transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities – by 8.1%, to UAH 212.877 million, in the field of professional and scientific and technical activities – by 5.3%, to UAH 143.207 million, and financial and insurance activities – by 5.1%, to UAH 20.703 million.
At the same time, debt has decreased in public administration and defense; compulsory social insurance – by 55.9%, to UAH 5.788 million, health care and the provision of social assistance – by 40.9%, to UAH 30.482 million, in the field of administrative and support services – by 14.4%, to UAH 9.416 million, information and telecommunications by 4.6%, to UAH 9.147 million, in agriculture, forestry and fisheries – by 4.1%, to UAH 23.15 million, and industry by 2.8%, to UAH 2.18 billion.
The total amount of wage arrears in Ukraine in May 2018 increased by 3.5%, and as of June 1, 2018 amounted to UAH 2.561 billion, the State Statistics Service has said. According to its data, in May 2018 wage arrears at economically active enterprises increased by 6.5% and on June 1 this year amounted to UAH 1.411 billion.
Wage arrears in May 2018 increased in Ternopil (17.5%), Zakarpattia (13.6%), Ivano-Frankivsk (11.8%), Kherson (9.2%), Sumy (7.9%), Zaporizhia (7.2%), Mykolaiv (6.2%), Kharkiv (5.6%) and Luhansk (5.4%) regions.
At the same time, the decline of wage arrears was recorded in Volyn (34.2%), Chernivtsi (8.3%), Zhytomyr (3.6%), Poltava (2.9%), Odesa (1.4%), Rivne (0.8%) regions and Kyiv city (1.7%).
According to the statistics service, in May 2018 arrears in payment of wages increased in the sphere of healthcare – by 12.1%, to UAH 23.9 million, industry – by 3.9%, to UAH 2.036 billion, construction – by 2.2%, to UAH 82.3 million and agriculture – by 7.7%, to UAH 17.4 million.
The wage arrears fell by 0.2% in the professional, scientific and technical activity, to UAH 113.4 million, in financial and insurance activity – by 0.5%, to UAH 17 million and in the sphere of arts, sports, entertainment and recreation – by 10.4%, to UAH 1.4 million.
