In January-October this year, Ukraine increased imports of aluminum ore and concentrate (bauxite) in physical terms by 46.8% compared to the same period last year, up to 19,842 thousand tons.
According to the statistics released by the State Customs Service (SCS), bauxite imports in monetary terms increased by 50.9% to $2.681 million during this period.
The imports came mainly from Turkey (70.31% of supplies in monetary terms), China (26.67%) and Spain (2.91%).
Ukraine did not re-export bauxite in the same period of this year as in January-October 2023.
As reported, in 2022, Ukraine reduced imports of aluminum ore and concentrate (bauxite) in physical terms by 81.5% compared to the previous year – to 945.396 thousand tons. Imports of bauxite in monetary terms decreased by 79.6% to $48.166 million. Imports were mainly from Guinea (58.90% of supplies in monetary terms), Brazil (27.19%) and Ghana (7.48%).
In 2023, Ukraine imported 19,830 thousand tons of bauxite worth $2,360 million.

In January-September this year, Ukraine increased imports of aluminum ores and concentrate (bauxite) in physical terms by 99.8% compared to the same period last year, up to 19.528 thousand tons. According to statistics released by the State Customs Service on Tuesday, bauxite imports in monetary terms increased 2.2 times to $2.435 million during the period.
The imports came mainly from Turkey (77.38% of supplies in monetary terms), China (19.42%) and Spain (3.20%).
Ukraine did not re-export bauxite in the same period of this year as in January-September 2013.

According to statistics released by the State Customs Service (SCS) on Friday, bauxite imports in monetary terms increased by 22.8% to $980 thousand during this period.
At the same time, imports were carried out mainly from Turkey (63.81% of supplies in monetary terms), China (28.64%) and Spain (7.54%).
Ukraine did not re-export bauxite in the same period of this year as in January-July 2023.

Ukraine in January-April this year reduced imports of aluminum ores and concentrate (bauxite) in physical terms by 99.98% compared to the same period last year – to 210 tons.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service (SCS), during this period, imports of bauxite in monetary terms decreased by 99.64% – to $170 thousand.
Imports were mainly from China (100% of supplies in monetary terms).
During this period of this year, as well as in January-April 2022, Ukraine did not re-export bauxite.

Imports of titanium ores and concentrates fell to 196 tonnes and $115,000 in the ten months of 2022, from 912 tonnes and $889,000 a year previously. Exports grew 38.9% to 273,409 tonnes and 10.5% to $111.27 million.
Bauxite imports fell 77.4% to 945,311 tonnes and 74.8% to $48.119 million.
Imports of nickel ores and concentrates fell 66.5% to 341,268 tonnes and 68.6% to $15.234 million, and manganese ores 60% to 135,069 tonnes and 57.5% to $17.976 million.
Ukraine did not re-export bauxite or export nickel and manganese ores in the ten months of 2022.
