IC “Arsenal Insurance” will insure cars of “Ukrtransnafta”.

JSC “Ukrtransnafta” and IC “Arsenal Insurance” (both – Kiev) have concluded a contract of compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles (MTPL).

According to the message in the system of electronic public procurement Prozorro, the price offer of the company was UAH 627,658 thousand with the declared in the system UAH 1,433 million.

Insurance companies IC “VUSO” with the offer of UAH 607,352 th. and SG “TAS” – UAH 775,049 th. also took part in the tender.

IC “Arsenal Insurance” is the legal successor of IC “Arsenal-Dnepr”, operating in Ukraine since 2005. It is represented in all regional centers and some large cities of the country.

More than 300 road accidents occurred in Ukraine last year due to fault of foreign drivers with “Green Card” insurance policy

Due to the fault of foreign drivers with a valid insurance contract “Green Card” last year in Ukraine there were 315 road accidents (RTA).

As reported in Facebook Motor (transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine, according to the law of Ukraine on compulsory insurance of motor liability, in such cases the damage to the injured driver is compensated at the expense of the Insurance Guarantee Fund of the MTSBU.

“Such regulatory payment is carried out on the terms and amounts established by the legislation of Ukraine and the principles of mutual settlement of damage on the territory of the member countries of the international system of automobile insurance “Green Card”, it is noted in the message.

ITSBU is the only association of insurers carrying out compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles for damage caused to third parties.

“Green Card” – a system of insurance protection of victims in a traffic accident regardless of the country of their residence and the country of registration of the vehicle. “Green Card” covers the territory of 45 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.

According to the decision adopted by the General Assembly of the Council of the Bureau of the International Motor Insurance System “Green Card” in Luxembourg in May 2004, Ukraine is a full member of this system since January 1, 2005.

ARX IC has launched “Iron Dome” car insurance program

Insurance company ARX (Kiev) has introduced a new hull insurance program “Iron Dome”, covering damage or total loss of cars from missiles, drones and ammunition, debris of buildings, according to the press release of the insurer.

Under this program, cars up to 15 years old, costing up to UAH 5 million, are subject to insurance. Such risks as damage or total loss of the vehicle due to direct or indirect impact of any types of missiles and UAVs on the conditionally safe territory of Ukraine (according to the list of the Ministry of Reintegration in force on the date of the event), or damage from debris in case of hitting buildings are covered.

The deductible is 10% of the sum insured. The insurance terms are three and six months, as well as one year.

The insurance tariff depends on the insurance term: 3 months – 1%, 6 months – 1.5%, 1 year – 2%

At the same time, the program is a completely stand-alone product, which can be purchased without the main hull insurance in ARX or another insurance company. Review of the car (with photography and video fixation) can be done without visiting the office – online, through the mobile application MyARX.

ARX daily pays out to customers a total of about UAH 4.7 million on insured events.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, for six months of 2023 the company occupies the first positions in the Ukrainian market on all key indicators.

IC “ARX” has been working in the insurance market for 26 years. According to the company’s data, it is the leader of CASCO insurance for the 13th consecutive year. It took the first place among insurers of Ukraine on the size of net insurance premiums and net insurance indemnities for 2021. It is a part of the international insurance holding Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited (Canada).
