Ukrainian State Postal Service Enterprise (USPS) “Ukrposhta” announced on October 23 its intention to conclude a contract with IC “European Insurance Alliance” (both – Kiev) for services of compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of motor vehicles (OSAGO).
As reported in the system of electronic public procurement “Prozorro”, the expected cost of the service amounted to UAH 1.162 million, the company’s price offer – UAH 345,105 thousand.
The tender was also attended by insurance companies “Guardian” with an offer of UAH 350.799 thousand, “Inter-Policy” – UAH 350.8 thousand, “Kraina” – UAH 553.8 thousand, “Euroins Ukraine” – UAH 569.9 thousand.
PJSC Ukrhazvydobuvannya (Kiev) on August 7 announced a tender for compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles (OSAGO).
As reported in the electronic public procurement system ProZorro, the expected cost of purchasing services is UAH 3.227 million.
The deadline for submission of documents is August 14
The winners of a similar tender a year earlier was IC “VUSO”.
On August 5, the Ukrainian State Postal Service Enterprise Ukrposhta (Kiev) announced its intention to conclude a contract of compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of motor vehicles (MTPL) with Euroins Ukraine (Kiev).
According to the electronic public procurement system “Prozorro”, the company’s price offer amounted to UAH 24.41 thousand against UAH 68.107 thousand of the expected cost of purchasing services.
The tender was attended by insurance companies Inter-Policy with a price offer of UAH 27.2 thousand, Krajina – UAH 32.2 thousand, Guardian – UAH 32.3 thousand, ESA – UAH 43.9 thousand.
IC “Euroins Ukraine” in 2023 increased premiums by 20,4% compared to 2022 – up to UAH 565 mln and concluded 17% more insurance contracts – more than 662 thousand.
The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine (MTSBU) will hold the first session of the online course “Fundamentals of the New Law on CMTPL Insurance” on May 31 at 10:00, according to the Bureau’s Facebook page.
The session will be conducted by Roman Romensky, Head of the MTSBU Legal Department, who will talk about the basic principles and procedure for concluding insurance contracts in accordance with the basics of the new law (Section I-II of the draft law).

In connection with the adoption on May 21, 2024 by the Verkhovna Rada of the draft law “On Compulsory Insurance of Civil Liability of Owners of Inland Motor Vehicles” will hold a familiarization course on the main provisions of the bill, according to the website of the Bureau.
The familiarization course will consist of four sessions (by sections of the draft law), which will be held on the official YouTube channel of the MTSBU on Fridays at 10:00, lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, of which 30 minutes will be allocated for answering questions.
The tentative plan of the lectures is as follows: Session 1: Basic fundamentals of the New Law on CMTPL insurance and the procedure for concluding insurance contracts (І-ІІІ section of the draft law), Session 2-3: Settlement of insurance claims and the procedure for making payments (III section of the draft law), Session 4: Updating the functional work of the MTSBU and the basic principles of insurance companies’ membership in the Bureau (IV section of the draft law).
