KYIV. June 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The actual selling price of crude oil and condensate used in determining the fee for subsoil use in May 2023 amounted to UAH 14,158 per tonne, which is 8.7% less than in April (UAH 15,515 per tonne).

As reported, in January 2023, the actual selling price was UAH 13,297 per tonne, in February – UAH 13,251 per tonne, in March UAH 12,522 per tonne and in April UAH 15,515 per tonne.
The actual selling price of crude oil and condensate used in setting the subsoil royalty in January 2022 amounted to UAH 17,547 per tonne, which is 21.8% more than in December 2021 (UAH 14,403 per tonne).

As reported, in January 2021 the actual selling price amounted to UAH 11,114 per tonne, in February it was UAH 12,302 per tonne, in March it reached UAH 12,832 per tonne, in April it was UAH 12,605 per tonne, in May UAH 13,257 per tonne, and in June UAH 14,140, in July UAH 14,008, in August UAH 13,251 per tonne, in September UAH 14,035 per tonne, in October UAH 15,546 per tonne, in November UAH 15,728 per tonne, and in December UAH 14,403 per tonne.

JSC Ukrtransnafta in June for the first time transported Algerian Saharan Blend crude oil, the press service of the company has reported
“After checking the quality indicators of crude oil, the company began accepting it into the oil transmission system for further transportation to the facilities of the Kremenchuk oil refinery. Algerian oil will be transported through the Odesa-Kremenchuk pipeline,” the press service said.
The press service recalled that in addition to pumping oil from Ukrainian fields, UTN now already has experience in transporting six grades of imported oil: Urals, Azeri Light, Bakken (since July 2019), El Sharara (since November 2019), WTI (since June 2020) and Saharan Blend.

As reported, in January 2020, the actual selling price of oil and gas condensate amounted to UAH 11,114 per tonne, in February – UAH 9,648, in March – UAH 5,913, in April – UAH 3,960, in May – UAH 6,199, in June – UAH 8,115, in July – UAH 8,847, in August – UAH 8,887, in September – UAH 8,467, in October – UAH 8,447, in November – UAH 9,034, in December – UAH 10,127 per tonne.

Ukraine in 2020 increased import of crude oil (according to foreign trade activity code 2709) 1.6-fold (by 454,959 tonnes) compared to the same period in 2019, to 1.246 million tonnes.
According to the State Fiscal Service, in 2020, crude oil was imported for $409.167 million, which is 1.5% less than a year earlier ($431.735 million).
Some crude oil for $265.076 million came from Azerbaijan (the share is 64.78%), the United States for $98.445 million (24.06%), Libya for $45.555 million (11.13%) and other countries for $0.091 million (0.02%).
The export of crude oil by Ukraine in 2020 amounted to 80,000 tonnes for $24.351 million. Oil was exported to Belarus by Ukrtransnafta, which in the spring of 2020 bought Azerbaijani oil when the prices fell with its subsequent sale to its subsidiary BNK.
In 2019, Ukraine did not export oil.
