Dnipropetrovs’k Aggregate Plant increased its net income by 72%

In January-September 2023, Dnipro Aggregate Plant JSC (DAP, Dnipro) increased its net income from sales by 72% compared to the same period in 2022, to almost UAH 235.6 million.

According to the company’s published interim reports in the NSSMC disclosure system, its net profit more than doubled to UAH 69.4 million.

The plant earned UAH 100.16 million in operating profit in the reporting period (up twofold), while gross profit amounted to UAH 131.15 million (+39.6%).

As reported, in the first half of this year, DAO increased its net profit by 8.3% to UAH 33.83 million, while net revenue grew by 46% to almost UAH 132 million.

Thus, in the third quarter of 2023, net profit increased 15.3 times year-on-year to UAH 35.6 million, and net income increased 2.2 times to UAH 103.6 million.

At the same time, the report notes that Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine remains the main risk factor, “which continues to affect inflationary processes, which is reflected in rising prices for materials, equipment and energy resources, reducing the possibility of cash flow in case of an increase in the need for them.”

At the same time, the document says, SAZ is taking steps to increase return on equity by optimizing the structure of debt and equity to ensure business continuity.

According to the company’s previously announced plans, one of the key factors for its development in 2023 is to expand its order book by 1.5 times by 2022.

DAZ is an enterprise with many years of experience in manufacturing aircraft products, as well as hydraulic equipment for mines and general engineering products (fuel and other liquid pumps).

Most of its products are sold in Ukraine, but in recent years, supplies to the EU have increased significantly.

As reported, in 2022, the plant earned UAH 36.72 million in net profit, up 15.6% year-on-year, with net income up 1.4% to UAH 175.56 million.

Dnipropetrovsk Aggregate Plant reduced its net profit by 23.6%

JSC “Dnipropetrovsk aggregate plant” (DAZ, Dnipro) in January-March 2023 received a net profit of 14.06 million UAH, which is 23.6% less than in the first quarter of 2022.
According to the company’s interim statements, published on Thursday in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market (NKTSBFR), its net income increased by 8% – to UAH 55.47 million.
DAZ reduced its operating profit by 20.5% to UAH 20.31 mln, and its gross profit by 3.2% to UAH 34.39 mln.
Compared with the beginning of 2023 current liabilities of DAZ increased by 6.3% to UAH 281.34 million, while long-term liabilities decreased by 4.6% to UAH 68.13 million.
As noted in the report, the main risk factor for DAZ remains the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. This affects the inflationary processes, affecting the growth of prices for materials, equipment and energy resources, and reduces the possibility of receiving funds amid growing needs for them.

DNIPROPETROVSK AGGREGATE PLANT POSTS PROFIT IN 2019

JSC Dnipropetrovsk Aggregate Plant, according to preliminary data, received a net profit of UAH 170,000 in 2019, compared to UAH 480,000 in 2018.
According to the information on the agenda of a general shareholders’ meeting scheduled for April 16, retained earnings by the beginning of 2020 amounted to UAH 2.79 million, one third less than in 2019.
According to the draft agenda for the shareholders’ meeting, the net profit received will be directed to the development of production.
According to financial indicators, the plant’s current liabilities increased by 9.3%, to UAH 255.4 million, but long term liabilities decreased by 88.4%, to UAH 15.68 million for 2019.
The company’s assets decreased by 13.8%, to UAH 389.6 million, including the total receivables amounted to UAH 109.51 million, what is 15% less.
The net worth of the plant as of January 1, 2020 amounted to UAH 118.52 million, including the charter capital of UAH 8.2 million.
JSC Dnipropetrovsk Aggregate Plant, founded in 1927, is currently specializing in manufacturing high-precision mechanics, precision hydraulics and special electric drives for various industrial sectors.
According to the enterprise’s financial report for 2018, more than 40% of the production volume came from the manufacture of hydro-emulsion equipment for mining equipment, and about 24% from aviation and special-purpose products (various pumps, electric motors, generators), which previously occupied a predominant share.
“Due to the loss of traditional (mainly in the Russian Federation) sales markets, the output of special products has significantly decreased over the past five years,” the plant’s representatives said.
The company’s net income in 2018 decreased by 22.3% compared to 2017, to UAH 327.54 million. By the beginning of 2019, the plant employed more than 2,000 people.
According to the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market for the fourth quarter of 2019, some 37.9466% of the shares of the plant belong to Yevhen Morozenko, the chairman of the supervisory board (the Ukrainian MP from the Party of Regions in 2012-2014), 19.1847% to Volodymyr Yatsuba (Head of Sevastopol City Administration until February 2014), another 19.18.47% to his son Andriy Yatsuba.
