Dniprospetsstal Electrometallurgical Plant (Zaporizhia) in January-July this year increased the output of finished rolled products by 10% compared to the same period last year, to 95,200 tonnes.
A representative of the enterprise informed Interfax-Ukraine that steel production for this period increased by 7.3%, to 133,040 tonnes.
In July 19,000 tonnes of steel were smelted, 12,000 tonnes of rolled products were produced.
As reported, Dniprospetsstal in 2020 increased the output of finished rolled products by 1.3% compared to 2019, up to 154,000 tonnes, steel by 2.7%, up to 225,000 tonnes.
Dniprospetsstal is the only Ukrainian manufacturer of long products and forgings from special grades of steel: stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing, structural, as well as from heat-resistant nickel-based alloys.
Electrometallurgical plant Dniprospetsstal (Zaporizhia) in January-April this year increased the output of finished rolled products, according to operational data, by 19.1% compared to the same period last year – up to 56,000 tonnes.
Steel production during this period increased by 13.4% – up to 76,000 tonnes, the enterprise told Interfax-Ukraine.
In April, 21,000 tonnes of steel were smelted; 14,000 tonnes of rolled products were produced.

As the enterprise told Interfax-Ukraine, steel production during this period increased by 12.1%, to 37,000 tonnes.
In February, 18,000 tonnes of steel, and 13,000 tonnes of rolled products were produced.

Dniprospetsstal Electrometallurgical Plant (Zaporizhia) in January-November this year, according to the recent data, increased the output of finished rolled products by 1.4%, to 141,000 tonnes compared to the same period last year.
As the enterprise told Interfax-Ukraine, steel production during this period increased by 2.5%, to 205,000 tonnes.
In November, 21,000 tonnes of steel were smelted, and 13,000 tonnes of rolled products were produced.
The company’s information said that the metal of Dniprospetsstal complies with the European standards for construction, this was confirmed by the certificate №1853-CPR-101 of compliance of the factory production control with the European Regulation 305/2011/EU. The document applies to the production of hot-rolled bars and forgings from structural and stainless steel grades. These products are used for production of metalwork constructions and composite reinforced concrete structures.
“The certificate allows the company to manufacture and supply metal products specified in its scope. In addition, Dniprospetsstal is allowed to affix the CE mark on its products. It indicates its compliance with European standards. Metal products with such a mark are successfully sold in the EU countries,” the company said.
The certificate is valid until November 22, 2023.

The company told Interfax-Ukraine that steelmaking reduced by 1.9%, to 105,000 tonnes, over this period.
In June 2020, there were 17,000 tonnes of steel smelted and 13,000 tonnes of rolled products produced.

Dniprospetsstal Electrometallurgical Plant (Zaporizhia) increased finished steel production by 4.4% in January-February 2020, compared to the same period in 2019, to 23,160 tonnes, steel production increased by 4.6%, to 32,788 tonnes. According to the company’s press release, some 18,639 tonnes of steel were smelted in February, which is 31.7% higher than in January. Finished steel production amounted to 12,352 tonnes in February, which is 14.3% more than in January.
The total cost of commodity products produced in February 2020 amounted to UAH 509.833 million in current prices, for the two months of 2020 it amounted to over UAH 1.032 billion (commodity production amounted to over UAH 1.355 billion in January-February 2019, and it amounted to UAH 594.671 million in February 2019).
“In February, the plan for steel delivery at steel melt workshop No.5, powder metal workshop and drop hammer workshop was exceeded. In comparison with the planned tasks, the shipments to forge and press workshop and the hot pressing department of powder metal workshop were increased,” the press release says.
