The Verkhovna Rada intends to introduce electronic registration of place of residence for Ukrainians.
Some 251 MPs voted at the first reading for relevant bill No. 5463 on the implementation of public electronic services for registration and declaration of residence in Ukraine at an extraordinary plenary session of parliament on Thursday.
The bill proposes to declare place of residence online using the single state portal Diia.
According to the bill, in the case of declaring or registering a place of residence according to a declaration (application) filed in electronic form, enrollment, deregistration of conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists is carried out by the corresponding district (city) territorial centers of recruitment and social support based on information about a conscript/person liable for military service/reservist in electronic form, sent by the registration authorities through the unified information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the Unified State Register of conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists.
