JSC Slavic Wallpapers – KFTB (Koryukivka, Chernihiv region), a leading Ukrainian wallpaper producer, produced 5.29 million standard pieces of wallpaper in January-April 2024, up 13.6% year-on-year.
According to statistics provided by UkrPapir Association to Interfax-Ukraine, the factory’s output growth rate for the first four months of the year was 21% compared to the same period last year: in January-March, the growth rate was 21%.
At the same time, the factory’s production volume in monetary terms increased by 14.8% to UAH 417.4 million over four months.
In April, the company produced 1.49 million conventional pieces of wallpaper, which is 2% less than in April-2023, but 6.3% more than in March this year.
The EBA has no data on wallpaper production in Ukraine in January-April 2024, as the State Statistics Service has stopped providing it.
As reported, in 2023, the factory increased its wallpaper production by 19% compared to 2022, to 16.2 million units, production increased by 38.2% to UAH 1 billion 249 million, and net profit increased almost eightfold to UAH 47.7 million.
Earlier, the company noted that as a result of Russian aggression, sales volumes, especially through retail channels, had significantly decreased.

According to the announcement of a general meeting of shareholders to be held on April 30 on the results of work in 2023, the company does not plan to distribute the profit.
According to Clarity-project, at the beginning of this year, the company’s retained earnings amounted to UAH 1 billion 908 million.
As reported, in 2022, the factory reduced its net profit seven times year-on-year to UAH 6.22 million.
At the meeting, shareholders plan to re-elect the supervisory board, among other things.
According to the NSSMC, as of the third quarter of 2023, 56.12% of the JSC’s shares were owned by Slavich-Invest LLC, and another 24.991% by Slavich Trading House LLC (both based in Koryukivka).

The company noted that the Russian aggression had significantly reduced sales, especially through retail channels. The factory exported 56% of its products in 2022, mainly to Uzbekistan, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.

JSC “Slavyanske Wallpapers – KFTB” (formerly – Koryukivska Factory of Technical Papers, Chernihiv region), a leading Ukrainian wallpaper manufacturer, in January-July this year produced 9.27 million conditional pieces of wallpaper – 26.5% more than in the same period of 2022.
According to statistical data from the UkrPapyr association provided to Interfax-Ukraine, in July, in particular, it produced 1.62 million conditioned pieces – 4.2% less than in July-2022, but 3.6% more than in June this year.
At the same time, in monetary terms, the factory’s output in January-July increased by 56.3% to UAH 719.3 mln.
As reported, in January-February this year, the factory showed a 10.7% drop in production volume to the same pre-war period of 2022 – to UAH 189.51 million, with wallpaper production falling by 40.5% to 2.18 million pieces.
According to the association “UkrPapir”, in 2022, the factory reduced the output of wallpaper 2.4 times to 2021 to 13.59 million усл. pieces, the production volume decreased by 45% to 903.55 million UAH.

Slavianske Wallpapers-KFTB PJSC (formerly Koryukiv Technical Paper Factory, Chernihiv Region), Ukraine’s leading manufacturer of wallpapers, cut its net profit 5.5 times in January-September compared to the same period in 2021 – down to UAH 8.47 million.
According to the disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and Stock Market, announced on Friday, the company’s net profit nearly halved to UAH 653.19 million.
In the first nine months of the current year the company received UAH 12.42 mln of profit from operating activities (4.7 times less), and gross profit decreased by 47.4% – to UAH 124.88 mln.
The document notes that in conditions of war and existing risks it is impossible to predict the further impact of negative factors on the economic activities of PJSC, but the strategic objectives remain unchanged: to preserve the existing opportunities and the reputation of a reliable supplier, to improve product quality, to retain the team.
“In addition, the company plans to continue modernization of production, development of dealer network, entering new markets and strengthening of discipline at production”, – is said in the report.
This points to high financial independence of the company from external borrowing and stable financial situation.
According to the association UkrPapir, in January-September, KFTB produced 10.07 million pieces of wallpaper – 2.5 times less than a year earlier.
On Friday, KFTB also released its financial statement for the first half of this year, according to which it received a net loss of UAH 3.6 million against a net profit of UAH 30.22 million a year earlier, while net income fell by more than half to UAH 363.89 million.
Thus, in the third quarter-2022 the factory received more than UAH 12 million of net profit, which is 26.2% less than in the same period of 2021, and net income decreased by 44.5% to UAH 289.3 million.
At that, the factory finished the first quarter of this year with a loss of UAH 9.16 million against net profit of UAH 14.94 million in January-March 2021, while net profit decreased 2.1 times to UAH 170.41 million.
