Ukraine’s retail trade in January-June 2018 increased by 6.2%.
Four regions (City of Kyiv with Kyiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region, Kharkiv region and Odesa region) amount to 51% of total trade turnover.
Luhansk and Ternopil are on the last places.
In June 2018 alone, retail trade decreased by 0.8% compared to May 2018, but it grew by 6.3% compared to June 2017.

In June 2018, passenger flow of the Kharkiv international airport totaled 114,600 people, which is 38% up year-over-year.
The press service of the airport reported that this is a record breaking figure for the airport – first its monthly passenger flow exceeded 100,000 people.
The most popular destinations in June were Istanbul (Pegasus, Turkish Airlines), Kyiv (UIA), Warsaw (LOT), Tel Aviv (UIA), Dortmund (WizzAir), Minsk (Belavia), Milan (UIA), Batumi (Myway Airlines, Yanair), Katowice (WizzAir), Tbilisi (Myway Airlines) and Lublin (Bravo Airways).
In May 2018, passenger flow of the airport was 88,900, which is 5% more than a year ago (84,400). The share of passengers on international flights was 80%.
Total passenger flow of the airport in January-June 2018 totaled 440,200 people, which is 21% more than a year ago (364,100 people).
Kharkiv airport has a runway 2,500 meters long and 50 meters wide. There are two passenger terminals with the capacity of 100 and 650 people on its territory.

New Georgia’s Myway Airlines will launch regular flights to Kharkiv from Tbilisi and Batumi in June 2018, the airline has reported.
The airline will fly on the Tbilisi-Kharkiv-Tbilisi route from June 12 twice a week (on Tuesdays and Saturdays) using Boeing 737-800 planes.
The regular Batumi-Kharkiv-Batumi flights will be also serviced by Boeing 737-800 twice a week – on Wednesdays and Saturdays – from June 13, 2018.
“We should say that Kharkiv would not be the only destination in Ukraine. By the end of this year the airline seeks to launch flights to Kyiv,” the airline said.
Myway Airlines’s fleet consists of two Boeing 737-800 planes. The airline will receive the third plan early July and the fourth in December.
Myway Airlines was founded in 2018. This is a project of China’s Hualing Group.
Bravo Airways will launch regular flights to Lublin from Kyiv, Kharkiv and Kherson from June 15, 2018. “We open new flights to Lublin from June 15, which will allow in 1.5 hours safely, comfortably and without changing to get from the airports of Kyiv, Kherson and Kharkiv to Lublin and back,” the airline said on Facebook.
The cost of flights starts from UAH 1,300. The fare also includes transportation of hand luggage and the ability to carry up to 23 kg of luggage free of charge. Regular flights will be available to both directions three times a week from Kyiv and Kherson and twice from Kharkiv.
As reported, earlier Bravo Airways launched charter flights from Kherson to Dalaman (Turkey). Bravo Airways was founded in April 2012. Its core business is passenger transportation on regular and charter routes. Since its founding, Bravo Airways has transported more than 500,000 passengers. The aircraft of the airline are based at Kyiv Zhuliany International Airport.
