Kokhavyno Paper Mill has increased production by 75%

In January-September 2024, Kokhavyno Paper Mill (KBF, Lviv region), which produces sanitary paper products, increased its production by 75.1% compared to the same period in 2023, to UAH 1 billion 502 million, according to statistics from UkrPapir Association.
As reported, in the first eight months of the year, the mill’s production growth was 67.4% compared to the same period in 2023, and in the first seven months it was 61%.
According to the association’s statistics provided to Interfax-Ukraine, in physical terms, the production of the base paper for sanitary products at the factory increased by 39.6% to 43.2 thousand tons over the nine months.
The output of toilet paper in rolls increased by 1.5% to 102.5 million units. KPF is confidently ranked second in terms of its output after Kyiv CPP.
As reported, in October last year, Kokhava Pulp and Paper Mill put into operation a paper machine for the production of cellulose base paper (previously, it produced only waste paper-based products). To organize such production in 2021, the company attracted a EUR 13.8 million loan from the EBRD.
In October of this year, according to the company, the line of cellulose sanitary products was expanded with four-layer toilet paper “Gold” with lamination and perforation of the roll.
Kokhavynsk Pulp and Paper Mill, which has been operating since 1939, produces the base paper for sanitary and hygiene products, as well as toilet paper and paper towels. Before the new machine was put into operation, the mill had two paper machines with a total capacity of 40 thousand tons of base paper per year.
In 2023, the mill increased its production by 18% compared to 2022 to UAH 1 billion 151.2 million, while net profit increased 2.7 times to UAH 137 million.

Kokhavyno Paper Mill increases production by 9%

Kokhava Paper Mill (KBF, Lviv region), which produces sanitary paper products, increased its production by 8.7% in January 2014 compared to January 2013, to UAH 102.94 million, according to statistics from Ukrpapir Association.

According to the data provided to Interfax-Ukraine, in physical terms, production of the base paper for sanitary products increased by 1.7% to 3.6 thousand tons.

Last month, production of toilet paper in rolls increased by 12.3% to 12.7 million units. KBF retains the second place in terms of its output after Kyiv pulp and paper mill (21.3 million units).

As reported, in October last year, Kokhava Pulp and Paper Mill commissioned a paper machine with an estimated capacity of 25 thousand tons per year to produce pulp base paper (previously it produced only waste paper-based products), creating up to 200 new jobs.

To organize such production in 2021, the pulp mill attracted a EUR 13.8 million loan from the EBRD.

Kokhavyno Paper Mill increased production by 18%

Kokhavyno Paper Mill (KBF, Lviv region), which produces sanitary paper products, increased its production by 18% in 2023 compared to 2022, to UAH 1 billion 151.2 million, according to statistics from Ukrpapir Association.

According to the data provided to Interfax-Ukraine, in physical terms, the production of paper base for sanitary products increased by 2.8% to 41.7 thousand tons. In particular, in December, its output increased by 3% to 3.6 thousand tons by December 2022.

Last year, the production of toilet paper in rolls increased by 4.5% to 138 million units. KBF retained second place in terms of its output after Kyiv pulp and paper mill (259.5 million units).

As reported, in October, Kokhava Pulp and Paper Mill commissioned a paper machine with an estimated capacity of 25 thousand tons per year to produce pulp base paper (previously it produced only waste paper-based products), creating up to 200 new jobs.

To organize such production in 2021, the pulp mill attracted an EBRD loan of EUR 13.8 million.

Kokhavyno Paper Mill increased production by 22.5%

In January-October 2023, Kokhavyno Paper Mill (KBF, Lviv region), which produces sanitary paper products, increased its production by 22.5% compared to the same period in 2022, to UAH 959.6 million, according to statistics from UkrPapir Association.

According to the data provided to Interfax-Ukraine, in physical terms, the production of paper base for sanitary products increased by 2.4% to 34.6 thousand tons. In particular, in October, its output increased by 3.4% to 3.64 thousand tons by October 2022, which is also 23.4% more than in September this year.

The production of toilet paper in rolls increased by 3.9% to 113 million units during this period. KPF retains the second place in terms of its output after Kyiv CPP (213.3 million units), slightly ahead of VGP JSC (TM Ruta).

Kokhava Paper Mill, which has been operating since 1939, produces the base paper for sanitary and hygiene products, as well as toilet paper and paper towels.

The mill has practically not stopped production since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale aggression in Ukraine.

As reported, in 2023, KPF produced products worth UAH 975.3 million, up 44.8% year-on-year. Net profit decreased by 12.7% to UAH 52.4 million.
