Ukrainian enterprises in January this year, reduced the import of nickel and its products by 96.2% compared with January 2022 – to $312 thousand, aluminum and its products – by 33.6%, to $26.529 million, while the import of lead and lead products reduced by 95.4% – to $32 thousand, tin and tin products by 20.4%, to $172 thousand, and zinc and zinc products – by 67%, to $2.238 million.
Ukraine has reduced imports of nickel and its products by 49.9% in 2023 compared to 2022 – up to $59.754 million ($0.668 million in December), aluminum and aluminum products – by 33.4%, to $340.398 million ($29.457 million). At the same time, imports of lead and lead products decreased by 66.6% to $2.839 million ($12 thousand).
Ukraine in January-September 2022 reduced imports of nickel and products from it by 44.4% compared to January-September 2021 – to $49.3 million (in September – $4.664 million), aluminum and products from it – by 30, 8%, to $239.539 million ($32.357 million). At the same time, it reduced the import of lead and products from it by 65.1% – to $2.395 million ($146 thousand). Imports of tin and products from it fell by 8% – to $2.789 million ($322 thousand), and imports of zinc and zinc products also decreased – by 58.5%, to $28.225 million ($2.090 million).
Exports of aluminum and products from it for the first nine months of 2022 decreased by 36.4% compared to January-September 2021 – to $75.861 million (in September – $9.406 million), lead and products from it by 67.2% – to $9.370 million ($0.684 million), nickel and products – by 69.2%, to $1.079 million ($0.141 million).
Ukraine in January-November this year reduced imports of nickel ores and concentrate by 21.6% compared to the same period last year, to 1.134 million tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service, in monetary terms, imports of nickel ores fell by 23.5%, to $54.089 million.
The ore was imported from Guatemala (100% of supplies in monetary terms).
In January-November 2021, Ukraine did not export or re-export these products.
Ukraine in January-April-2021 increased imports of nickel and products from it by 22.4% compared to the same period in 2020, to $32.750 million.
In addition, Ukraine in January-April-2021 increased imports of nickel and products from it by 22.4% compared to the same period in 2020, to $32.750 million (in April – $9.428 million), aluminum and products from it – by 10% , to $129.966 million ($34.997 million).
At the same time, it increased the import of lead and products from it by 3.1 times, to $4.603 million ($1.040 million), increased the import of tin and products from it by 43.5%, to $1.145 million ($402,000), and also increased zinc and zinc products by 90.7%, to $28.139 million ($9.561 million).
Ukraine increased imports of nickel ores and concentrate in physical terms by 15.7% in 2020 compared to the previous year, to 1.556 million tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service on Tuesday, in monetary terms, imports of nickel ores grew by 11%, to $75.790 million.
At the same time, the import was from Guatemala (70.05% of supplies in monetary terms) and Indonesia (29.95%).
In 2020, Ukraine did not export or re-export these products, while in 2019 it supplied 7,999 tonnes of nickel ores to Greece for the amount of $312,000.
Ukraine, in January-October this year, increased imports of nickel ores and concentrate in physical terms by 21.6% compared to the same period last year – up to 1,325,721 tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service, imports of nickel ores increased by 19.7% – to $65.184 million in monetary terms.
At the same time, the import was carried out from Guatemala (65.17% of supplies in monetary terms) and Indonesia (34.83%).
In January-October-2020, Ukraine did not export or re-export these products, while in the same period of 2019 it supplied 7,999 tonnes of nickel ores to Greece in the amount of $312,000.
