The first commercial Security Operation Center in Ukraine, created by Ukraine’s Octava Cyber Defense, will be officially opened by Head of the supervisory board of Octava Capital Oleksandr Kardakov on June 26 in the new campus B2 of the UNIT.City innovation park, the company has reported.
The new commercial SOC will work on the basis of Cisco’s technologies.
“It is important that this site is also a laboratory and the Competence Center for solutions, technologies, products and services in the field of cybersecurity, where it is possible to demonstrate and model any solutions in this field,” Octava Cyber Defense said.
The company also said that the practice of partnership between such world leaders on cybersecurity like Cisco, and local SOC is traditional for the industry.
The new Security Operation Center, in turn, will provide: centralized management of cybersecurity; automated detection and blocking of cyber attacks in real time; the identification and investigation of cybersecurity incidents, as well as the proactive analysis of cyber security risks that may lead to incidents in the future – Cyber Threat Intelligence.
“If necessary, the Security Operation Center of Octave Cyber Defense is ready to interact with the State Center for Cybersecurity, the profile units of the Security Service, the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection and cyber police,” the company said.
Equipping the Competence Center allows you to simulate virtually any configuration of solutions and scenarios, and provides an opportunity to evaluate their advantages for a business of any size.
