PUNCTUALITY OF UKRAINIAN AIRLINES INCREASES TO 89%

Ukrainian airlines in February 2020 performed 89% of all flights from the country’s airports with a 15-minute deviation from the schedule, which corresponds to an increase of 3.1 percentage points compared to the previous airlines’ punctuality study for January 2020 (85.9%).
According to data the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine posted on its website, in general, in January Ukrainian airlines operated 2,929 flights.
At same time, the ministry indicates that the punctuality of foreign airlines in February 2020 increased to 87.3% (from 86.6% in January 2020). The total number of flights is 2,739.
Of the Ukrainian airlines that performed more than 50 flights in January, the most punctual was Windrose airline with an indicator of 92.7% with a total number of flights being 315. It is followed by Ukraine’s largest airline, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA), with 91.6% with the total number of flights being 1,770 and Motor Sich with 90.4% and 114 flights. The next are SkyUp (81.9% and 514 flights) and Azur Air Ukraine (79%, 195 flights).
Among foreign airlines, the punctuality rating with 100% was headed by Onur AI (16 flights), Alitalia (15 flights), and Scandinavian Airlines (six flights).
Among the low cost airlines in January, the Irish Ryanair had the best punctuality indicators – 89.7% with 465 flights. Wizz Air Hungary had 84.8% with 552 flights. Wizz Air UK had 81% with 21 flights. Pegasus Airlines is fourth with punctuality of 60% and 90 flights.

PUNCTUALITY OF ALL UKRAINIAN AIRLINES DECREASES TO 82.1% IN OCT

Ukrainian airlines in October 2019 serviced 82.1% of flights of the total number of flights serviced at Ukrainian airports within the 15-30 minute deviation from the timetable, which is 4.1 percentage points (p.p.) better than the figure for September 2019 (86.2%), according to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
According to the ministry, in October, Ukrainian airlines serviced 4,738 flights.
The punctuality of foreign airlines in October compared with September increased to 80.4% from 83.9%, while the number of flights totaled 3,204.
Of the Ukrainian airlines that made more than 50 flights a month in October, Windrose was the most punctual, with 87.4% and the number of flights 525. Motor Sich is second with 84.8% and 191 flights. Ukraine International Airline (UIA) had 84.7% punctuality with 2,890 flights. SkyUp had 75.1% with 527 flights and Azur Air Ukraine – 74% with 384 flights.
In October, Swiss International Airlines (29 flights), Scandinavian Airlines (three flights), Bulgaria Air (two flights) and British Airways (two flights) topped the punctuality rating among foreign airlines with 100%.
Among the low cost airlines in October, the Irish Ryanair had the best punctuality indicators – 89.8% with 332 flights. Pegasus Airlines had 79.8% with 119 flights. Wizz Air Hungary is third with punctuality of 79.1% and 584 flights.

PUNCTUALITY OF UKRAINIAN AIRLINES INCREASES TO 84.1% IN AUG

Ukrainian airlines in August 2019 serviced 84.1% of flights of the total number of flights serviced at Ukrainian airports within the 15 minute deviation from the timetable, which is 0.9 percentage points (p.p.) better than the figure for July 2019 (83.2%), according to the State Aviation Service of Ukraine.
According to the authority, in August, Ukrainian airlines serviced 5,694 flights.
The punctuality of foreign airlines in August compared with July increased to 83.2% from 80%, while the number of flights totaled 3,479.
Of the Ukrainian airlines that made more than 50 flights a month in August, Motor Sich remains the most punctual, with 96.8% and the number of flights 285.
Windrose is second with 91.5% and with the number of 658. Jonika is third with 86.2% and 58 flights. Bukovyna is fourth with 84.3% and 204 flights and Azur Air Ukraine is fifth with 84.1% and 429 flights.
Punctuality of Ukraine’s largest airline in the market – Ukraine International Airlines – was 82.8%, while the number of flights serviced was 3,396. The indicators in August for SkyUp are 77.9% and 565.
Air Arabia (28 flights), Aegean Airlines (10 flights), Bulgaria Air (four flights) and Iraqi Airways (4 flights) are in the top of the rating of foreign airlines with the 100% punctuality.
Pegasus Airlines had the best performance among low cost airlines – 89.8% with 128 flights. The figure of Irish Ryanair was 88.8% with 286 flights. Wizz Air Hungary is third with 86.1% and 589 flights.

PUNCTUALITY OF UKRAINIAN AIRLINES DECREASES IN JUNE

Ukrainian airlines in June 2019 serviced 73.9% of flights of the total number of flights serviced at Ukrainian airports within the 15 minute deviation from the timetable, which is 10.5 percentage points (p.p.) worse than the figure for May 2019 (84.4%), according to a posting on the website of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine.
According to the ministry, in June, Ukrainian airlines serviced 5,335 flights.
The punctuality of foreign airlines in June compared with May decreased to 77.4% from 82.8%, while the number of flights totaled 3,122.
Of the Ukrainian airlines that made more than 50 flights a month in June, Motor Sich remains the most punctual, with 93.7% and the number of flights 270.
Windrose is second with 88.6% and with the number of 642.
Punctuality of Ukraine’s largest airline in the market – Ukraine International Airlines – was 78%, while the number of flights serviced was 3,148.
The indicators in May for Bukovyna and Azur Air Ukraine were 57.8% and 50.7% with 206 and 420 flights respectively.
Alitalia, Aigle Azur, Aegean Airlines, Iraqi Airways, Bulgaria Air and Tarom were ranked the top of the June punctuality rating among foreign airlines with the 100% punctuality, the number of their flights was from three to 30 per month.
Wizz Air Hungary had the best performance among low cost airlines – 82.4% with 557 flights. Pegasus Airlines is second with 82.2% and 118 flights. The figure of Irish Ryanair was 76.5% with 272 flights.

Ukrainian airlines in May 2019 serviced 84.4% of flights of the total number of flights serviced at Ukrainian airports within the 15 minute deviation from the timetable, which is 2.5 percentage points (p.p.) worse than the figure for April 2019 (86.9%), according to a posting on the website of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine.
According to the ministry, in May, Ukrainian airlines serviced 4,888 flights.
The punctuality of foreign airlines in May compared with April decreased to 82.8% from 85.1%, while the number of flights totaled 3,198.
Of the Ukrainian airlines that made more than 50 flights a month in May, Motor Sich remains the most punctual, with 96.9% and the number of flights 261.
Windrose is second with 94.5% and with the number of 476.
Punctuality of Ukraine’s largest airline in the market – Ukraine International Airlines – was 89.2%, while the number of flights serviced was 3,126.
The indicators in May for Bukovyna and SkyUp were 74.8% and 66.9% with 151 and 375 flights respectively.
Qatar Airlines, Czech Airlines, Alitalia, Vueling, Aegean Airlines, Iraqi Airlines and Bulgaria Air were ranked the top of the May punctuality rating among foreign airlines with the 100% punctuality, the number of their flights was from three to 62 per month.
Pegasus Airlines had the best performance among low cost airlines – 92.2% with 116 flights. Irish Ryanair is second with 86.8% and 272 flights. The figure of Hungarian Wizz Air was 84% with 582 flights.

Ukrainian airlines in April 2019 serviced 86.9% of flights of the total number of flights serviced at Ukrainian airports within the 15 minute deviation from the timetable, which is 0.7 percentage points (p.p.) better than the figure for March 2019 (86.2%), according to a posting on the website of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine.
According to the ministry, in April, Ukrainian airlines serviced 4,099 flights.
The punctuality of foreign airlines in March compared with January increased to 85.4% from 87.1%, while the number of flights totaled 2,954.
Of the Ukrainian airlines that made more than 50 flights a month in April, Motor Sich remains the most punctual, with 98.8% and the number of flights 242.
Windrose is second with 92.6% and with the number of 363.
Punctuality of Ukraine’s largest airline in the market – Ukraine International Airlines – was 88.8%, while the number of flights serviced was 2,815.
The indicators in April for Bukovyna and SkyUp were 80% and 73.4% with 100 and 305 flights respectively.
Czech Airlines, Alitalia, Air Arabia, EllinAir, Aegean Airlines, Air Malta, Aglie Azur, Bulgaria and Air Tarom were ranked the top of the April punctuality rating among foreign airlines with the 100% punctuality, the number of their flights was from one to 32 per month.
Irish Ryanair had the best performance among low cost airlines – 91.1% with 258 flights. Pegasus Airlines is second with 87.9% and 99 flights. The figure of Hungarian Wizz Air was 85.9% with 567 flights.
