The State Road Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) has begun repair work on the sections of the route from Izmail to Vylkove with a length of 34 km (Odesa region).
As reported on the Ukravtodor’s Facebook page, work is currently being carried out on a ten-kilometer section from the city of Kiliya to the border of Izmail district. Arrangement of the base with crushed stone-sand mixture has already begun here.
The contractor is Rostdorstroy LLC.
It is noted that work is also carried out to develop designed-estimated documentation for the renewal of a 24 km section from Kiliya to Vylkove. The work is scheduled to begin early next year.
According to the agency, drivers will be able to use the updated route next year.
In total, in Odesa region, Ukravtodor plans to renew 194 km of roads in 2020.

The State Automobile Roads Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) in 2020 will renew the road T-15-13 Nechayane – Ochakiv (Mykolaiv region) with a length of 36.9 km, Ukravtodor has said in its Telegram channel.
“This is one of the worst roads in the country, which leads to picturesque places on the Black Sea coast. The plan is to launch it by the end of 2020,” the press service said, citing Ukravtodor Head Oleksandr Kubrakov.
Rostdorstroy LLC and OJSC Road Building Enterprise DST No. 4 Brest were identified as the contractors for the repair work.
The agency said that the work began from the north – the exit from the M-14 road Odesa – Melitopol – Novoazovsk. The contractor is currently cutting the worn-out road surface on a 6-kilometer stretch.
In general, in 2020 in Mykolaiv region it is planned to renew 185.5 km of national roads.
In Ukraine, according to the data of Ukravtodor, the Automobile Road Service has completed the upgrade of 2,022 km of roads in the upper layer of the road surface, another 800 km have been completed in the leveling layer. The leaders are Zakarpattia (223.5 km), Kharkiv (221.2 km), Zaporizhia (168.8 km), Sumy (149.9 km), Luhansk (133 km) and Lviv (130.1 km) regions.

The RDS Ukrainian road-building group of companies has completed the repair of 37 km of the section of the N-01 road in Cherkasy region ahead of schedule, the group’s co-founder, Yuriy Shumakher, has told Interfax-Ukraine.
“According to our commitments, we were supposed to complete the work in November, but we completed the renovation at the end of summer and in September we expect the section to be launched,” he said.
Shumakher recalled that, under the Big Construction program, from the beginning of 2020, the second category H-01 highway, which connects Kyiv with Znamyanka, is being repaired, and the company has repaired three sections with a total length of 37 km from Horodysche to Smila.
According to the information in the ProZorro system, at the beginning of July, four more tenders were announced for current medium repairs in total 35 km of this road in Cherkasy region, and all of them were won in August by Rostdorstroy LLC from the RDS Group, offering about UAH 713.9 million in total. The corresponding agreements were signed in early September.
Its competitors were Joint Ukrainian-German Venture Autostrada LLC and ShRBU-48 LLC.
Shumakher said that the overhaul of the N-01 highway had not been carried out since the 1970s, as a result of long-term operation of the road and heavy traffic of heavy trucks the road surface was badly worn out.
RDS won three tenders for the restoration of the specified 37th section of this road last year offering the price of UAH 658.24 million in total.
In addition, the group has already started repairing two more sections of the H-01 road, the total length of this section is 19 km.
The total length of the H-01 highway is 289.3 km. The road passes through three regions: Kyiv, Cherkasy and Kirovohrad.

Almost all works were carried out manually, because it is impossible to use heavy equipment at the object, co-owner of the company Yevhen Konovalov told Interfax-Ukraine.
The new alleys were paved with uniform pattern granite tiles and new street light poles with modern LED lamps were installed, the company said.
The stairs, lecture center and art compositions were decorated with lighting.
Also, the retaining wall was reinforced. Benches were installed. New trees and shrubs were planted.
Automatic retractable poles were installed to limit access of vehicles to the alley. In addition, the runoff water system was replaced.
Peizazhna Alley is a landmark in central Kyiv. A view of Podil and the Dnipro River opens from the observation platform, which is located in the Upper City.
The alley was constructed in 1980. Sculptures, art installations and a square appeared there as time went on.
The facility requires an extensive overhaul. The second stage of the modernization starts in the near future and will be completed in 2021.
The project was carried out by Rostdorstroy LLC, a part of the RDS group of road construction companies, which won a tender worth UAH 110 million at the beginning of 2020.

The Ukrainian group of companies RDS, as part of repair work on the section of M-14 highway in Kherson region, acquired Kredmash DS-16837 asphalt concrete plant for UAH 25 million and invested about UAH 50 million in a production base located in Nova Kakhovka of Kherson region, co-founder of the company Yuriy Shumakher has told Interfax-Ukraine.
“The total amount of our investments in the purchase of the asphalt concrete plant and in the production base was about UAH 75 million. We are expanding our presence in Kherson region, for this we are investing in a base in Kherson region,” he said.
The expert clarified that the new asphalt concrete plant will start work in a week, which will allow the work to be carried out systematically and meet the stated terms of local construction projects.
The productivity of Kredmash DS-16837 plant is up to 160 tonnes of asphalt concrete per hour. It consists of a high-power asphalt mixing facility, a feeding unit, bunkers for a mineral powder unit, four bitumen tanks of 30 cubic meters each and a ready-mix unit (100 tonnes).

A tender worth UAH 452 million to repair 25 km of Kropyvnytsky’s bypass road towards Kryvy Rih on the H-23 Kropyvnytsky-Kryvy Rih-Zaporizhia highway was won by a group of road construction companies RDS, the co-founder of the company Yuriy Shumakher has told Interfax-Ukraine.
“We have already formed working brigades in full, and this Saturday [July 4] we are starting construction,” he said.
Schumacher said that the RDS group, as one of the largest players in the Ukrainian road market, understands the importance of the Big Construction project announced by the president, therefore, it is responsible for the quality and deadlines for the work performed.
Turkish Onur Construction International with the best offer of UAH 452.899 million and the Ukrainian-German company Avtostrada with the best offer of UAH 452.9 million also participated in the tender with an expected value of UAH 477.08 million.
The total volume of H-23 road repair in Kirovohrad region this year is 83 km.
