PJSC Zaporizhiaoblenergo by September 2019 will reconstruct the 150/35/10 kV Likarniana substation due to the connection of a Solen Energy LLC solar power station in Zaporizhia.
The announcement of the signing of a relevant agreement with Assembly and Construction Company Synergy LLC on March 14 was published in the ProZorro system.
Development and Construction LLC also participated in the auction.
In May 2018, Zaporizhia City Council allocated 36 hectares for Solen Energy LLC on the Orikhivska highway.
According to Solen Energy’s website, the station’s capacity is 19.9 MW, the construction contractor is SIS LLC. The station has Risen and Longi modules with a capacity of 345 W and 365 W each, as well as ABB inverters with a power of 120 kW. In February, open hearings on providing feed-in tariffs to the station were held in Zaporizhia.
RECONSTRUCT, SOLAR PLANT, SOLEN ENERGY, SUBSTATION, ZAPORIZHIAOBLENERGO
AllianceEnergo LLC (Kyiv) upon the request of PJSC Kyivoblenergo will build a solar power plant with a capacity of up to 5 MW at 36a Zaporizka Street in Boryspil.
Kyivoblenergo reported in the ProZorro system in early March that the value of the contract it intends to sign is UAH 7.28 million.
Spetselektromontazh 2007 LLC also took part in the auction.
At the end of 2017, the executive committee of Boryspil City Council provided Promin-Energo LLC with urban planning conditions and restrictions for the construction of a 5 MW solar plant on a land plot at 36a Zaporizka Street in Boryspil. At the end of 2018, Promin-Energo LLC obtained a license to produce electricity for the first stage of the solar plant at the specified address with a capacity of 996.36 kW from the National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation.
Spanish-based Acciona Energia Global could acquire over 50% in the solar power plant projects Hudzivka-Solar 1 and Hudzivka-Solar 2 of UDP Renewables of Vasyl Khmelnytsky near Izmail in Odesa region.
According to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, it plans to consider the relevant statement of the Polish company Dymerka Solar Poland Sp. z o.o. controlled by Acciona.
According to UDP Renewables, the capacity of the Hudzivka solar plants being under construction in 2019 is 25.9 MW.
Managing Partner of UDP Renewables Serhiy Yevtushenko told the Interfax-Ukraine agency that UDP Renewables intends to remain in this project after Acciona joins it in order to develop it together. He added that the details of cooperation will be announced later after the successful completion of the transaction.
In early January of this year, the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate reported that it had allowed Hudzivka-Solar 2 LLC to build two solar plants with a capacity of 10 MW each in Izmail.
ACCIONA ENERGIA, SOLAR PLANT, UDP RENEWABLES, VASYL KHMELNYTSKY
DTEK Renewables (DTEK RES) starts preparation for the construction of Pokrovska solar power plant with a capacity of 240 MW in Dnipropetrovsk region.
The press service of DTEK Group told Interfax-Ukraine a contract has already been signed with Siemens, which has been elected general contractor for the construction of a 35/150 kV substation with the supply of all key equipment.
“We are launching another important project in the renewable energy industry of Ukraine. The construction of such large infrastructure projects as Pokrovska solar plant is a significant contribution to the implementation of the Energy Strategy of Ukraine. Only through the work of this solar plant, we plan to produce about 400 million kWh of “green” electricity that will allow reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 400,000 tonnes. Investments in the project will amount to about EUR200 million,” DTEK Renewables CEO Philipp Leckebusch said.
Sunvin 5 LLC and Solar Farm 8 LLC during 2019-2020 intend to build two solar plants with a total capacity of 140 MW in Kirovohrad region, Deputy Head of Oleksandriya District State Administration Yuriy Koval has said at a meeting of the District Development Council in late January. According to a posting on the website of the district state administration, in particular, Sunvin 5 LLC plans in 2019 to begin the construction of a 60 MW Morozivka solar plant in the area of 132 hectares under the jurisdiction of Novoselivske village council.
In addition, Solar Farm 8 LLC intends in 2020 to build a solar power station with a capacity of 80 MW in the area of 125 hectares (Bandurove village council).
Solar Farm 8, which is part of DTEK Renewables holding, also plans to build a 50 MW solar plant in the territory of Dykivka village council of Znamyanka district of Kirovohrad region. In the summer of 2018, it received a land plot of 24 hectares for rent for 49 years.
UDP Renewables, responsible for the development of projects in the field of renewable energy of UFuture Investment Group belonging to businessman Vasyl Khmelnytsky, has commissioned the 18.3 MW Free-Energy-Henichesk solar power station (Kherson region). According to the press service of the company, investment in the plant construction amounted to $18 million. The planned annual volume of electricity generation is 23,500 MWh, which will allow providing 9,000 households with energy.
During the construction of the plant, some 65,340 JinkoSolar panels were used, while additional goods and services were purchased from Ukrainian suppliers. Ukrgasbank acted as a financial partner of the project, KNESS group of companies was the general contractor, the company noted.
“We continue to develop in the “green” energy sector, as this is one of the most interesting areas of business in Ukraine today. Over the past year, the solar plants’ capacity in our country has almost doubled, but we still have room to grow compared to Europe, where the share of renewable energy averages 8.5%,” the press service said citing founder of UFuture Investment Group Vasyl Khmelnytsky.
The company also noted that UDP Renewables’ development strategy provides for the implementation of energy projects with a total capacity of 200 MW in the southern regions of Ukraine in 2018-2019.
Free-Energy-Henichesk solar plant is the second realized project of UDP Renewables, which currently also manages 6 MW Dymer solar plant-1 (Kyiv region).
UFuture Investment Group, headquartered in Brussels, was established in autumn 2017 and united the business projects of Vasyl Khmelnytsky. The group includes the Ukrainian development company UDP, whose specialization is the implementation of large infrastructure projects.
