International investment forum will be held in Tashkent on June 16–18

The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan invites representatives of the business community, investment companies, the banking and financial sector, industry associations, chambers of commerce and industry, international organizations, and the expert community to participate in the 5th Anniversary Tashkent International Investment Forum.

The event will take place June 16–18, 2026, in Tashkent and will serve as one of the key international platforms for discussing investment cooperation and developing new partnership solutions. The forum’s theme—“Investment Resilience: New Frontiers, New Partnerships”—will focus on protecting investments amid global uncertainty, establishing sustainable financial mechanisms, and developing new avenues of cooperation in promising markets.

The forum will feature discussions on macroeconomic trends and the investment potential of Uzbekistan, which is demonstrating steady growth and rising international ratings, as well as practical aspects of implementing investment projects.

Particular attention will be paid to the launch of the Tashkent International Financial Center, the development of financial infrastructure, trade and transport connectivity, the energy transition, and climate finance. The program includes panel discussions, industry sessions, bilateral meetings in B2B and B2G formats, as well as discussions on arbitration and investment protection.

The forum will provide participants with the opportunity to establish direct contacts with representatives of government agencies, international financial institutions, and the business community, learn about investment projects, and expand business cooperation.

2026 Tashkent International Marathon will take place on April 5

The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan invites everyone to participate in the 2026 Tashkent International Marathon, which will take place on April 5, 2026, in Tashkent.

The marathon is timed to coincide with the celebration of the national holiday Navruz and aims to strengthen international friendship, foster cooperation, and promote a healthy lifestyle. The event is organized in accordance with World Athletics requirements and is aimed at obtaining World Athletics Label Road Race status, which guarantees a high level of organization and compliance with international standards.

The program includes the following distances:

• Marathon (42.195 km)

• Half Marathon (21.097 km)

• 10 km

• 5 km

• 2 km (race for people with disabilities)

• 3 km (Nordic walking)

• Kids Run (1 km, 600 m, 400 m)

Fifth international investment forum will be held in Tashkent

On June 16–19, 2026, the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-2026) will be held in Tashkent.

The event will be held at the Central Asian Expo (CAEx) and will be the country’s largest economic event aimed at attracting foreign investment and developing strategic partnerships.

More than 3,000 representatives from over 93 countries are expected to attend, including investors, heads of international companies, and experts in sustainable development, innovation, and digital transformation.

The TIIF-2026 program covers a wide range of relevant topics:

  • investment opportunities in Central Asia and emerging markets;
  • accelerating the green transition in the economy, developing renewable energy and green finance;
  • developing infrastructure based on public-private partnerships;
  • digital transformation and the creation of a regional technology hub;
  • scaling up industry;
  • agribusiness and food security;
  • expanding partnerships between Central Asia and the European Union.

Exhibition of posters by Ukrainian illustrators Yellow&Blue was held in Tashkent

On February 25-28, the Ilkhom Theater in Tashkent hosted an exhibition of posters by Ukrainian illustrators Yellow&Blue, dedicated to modern Ukraine and its cultural identity.

The exhibition was organized by the European Union Delegation to Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine, while the Ilkhom Theater provided the venue and organizational support, for which the organizers expressed their gratitude.

The exhibition featured over 60 works by Ukrainian authors, created using collage, appliqué, and vector graphics techniques; the project was prepared by the Ukrainian illustration community Pictoric.

Central Asian countries to create joint brand “Made in Central Asia”

On November 13, 2025, the first meeting of the Council of Ministers of Trade and Investment of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan was held in Tashkent.

The event was aimed at strengthening practical cooperation between the countries of the region in the areas of trade, investment, and industrial cooperation, as well as implementing joint initiatives to increase mutual trade and create cooperative production facilities.

Particular attention was paid to the creation of working tools to increase trade turnover between the countries of the region to $20 billion, the formation of joint production sites under the “Made in Central Asia” brand, as well as the involvement of international financial institutions and large investors in the implementation of joint infrastructure and industrial projects.

It was noted that mutual trade between Uzbekistan and the countries of Central Asia is showing steady positive dynamics. While trade turnover amounted to $3.2 billion in 2017, by 2024 it had more than doubled, reaching $6.9 billion. In particular, trade turnover with Kazakhstan is approaching $4 billion, with Kyrgyzstan — $700 million, with Tajikistan — exceeding $570 million, and with Turkmenistan — more than doubling over the past five years to $1.15 billion. Trade with Azerbaijan has also shown significant growth, up 13% since the beginning of the year.

During the meeting, the need for further optimization of customs and border procedures, synchronization of transport and logistics infrastructure, and the creation of industrial hubs capable of uniting the production chains of the countries in the region was also emphasized. Particular attention was paid to issues of industrial cooperation, joint development of raw material and technological potential, and the development of exports of finished products with high added value.

Following the meeting, a joint communiqué was signed, setting out key agreements on deepening economic cooperation, developing cooperation and joint production, and creating new mechanisms for investment interaction.

Translogistica Uzbekistan 2025 will be held in Tashkent
