Due to the commissioning of new wells, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya (UGV) has increased its daily production of commercial natural gas by 3.31 million cubic meters since the beginning of 2023, according to a press release from Naftogaz Group on Friday.
“Thanks to the commissioning of 54 new gas wells since the beginning of the year and an increase in the number of service operations in August, the average daily production of natural gas by Ukrgasvydobuvannya reached its highest level since June 2020,” the company said.
According to Oleh Tolmachov, Acting CEO of UGV, the achieved increase in average daily production will allow the company to exceed the results of the previous two years by the end of the current year.
“In difficult conditions, the Ukrgasvydobuvannya team continues to work to provide the country with its own energy resources. I am grateful to my colleagues for their professionalism,” Tolmachev said in the press release.
As reported, UGV aims to increase natural gas production by 1 billion cubic meters in 2023 to 13.5 billion cubic meters. In 2022, UGV produced 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas (commercial), which is 3% less than in 2021.

On August 24, PJSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya (Kyiv) opened a tender for compulsory civil liability insurance of business entities for damage that may be caused by fires and accidents at high-risk facilities, including fire-hazardous facilities and facilities where economic activity may lead to environmental and sanitary-epidemiological accidents.
According to the Prozorro electronic public procurement system, the expected cost of the services is UAH 120,145 thousand, with the lowest price offer from Trnasmasmagistral Insurance Company at UAH 57,009 thousand.
The following insurance companies participated in the tender: Brokbusiness – UAH 58,260 thousand, Promstrakh – UAH 59,459 thousand, Universalna – UAH 59,744 thousand, Mega-Policy and VUSO – UAH 98,635 thousand each, and Krayina – UAH 118,9 thousand.

As reported in the system of electronic public procurement ProZorro, the expected cost of the purchase of services is UAH 1,601 thousand.

JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya transferred UAH 13.88 billion of rent payments to the consolidated budget of the country based on the results of its activities from January to August 2023.
“Of this amount, 5%, or UAH 693.9 million, will go to the budgets of local and regional levels in 11 regions where the company produces hydrocarbons,” the company said in a press release.
In particular, Kharkiv region will receive UAH 336.9 million, Poltava region – UAH 292.21 million, Lviv region – UAH 31.8 million, Dnipropetrovs’k region – UAH 18.38 million, and other regions – UAH 14.62 million.
“The amount of rent payments is calculated according to the sale price of Ukrgasvydobuvannya’s natural gas in favor of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
PJSC Ukrhazvydobuvannya (Kiev) on July 27 announced a tender for compulsory civil liability insurance of owners of land vehicles (MTPL).
As reported in the electronic public procurement system ProZorro, the expected cost of purchasing services is UAH 4.424 million.
The deadline for submitting documents is July 4.
JSC “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” (UGV) transferred UAH 10.1 billion of rent payments to the consolidated budget of the country as of January-May 2023, which is 1.89 billion more than in the first four months of the year (8.21 billion UAH), the company said on its website on Monday.
“Of this amount, 5% or 505.7 million UAH will go to the budgets of local and regional levels in 11 regions where the company produces hydrocarbons,” the UGV informed.
The rent money will be allocated among the regions as follows: Kharkiv region – 243.48 million UAH, Poltava region – 214.2 million UAH, Lviv region – 23.28 million UAH, Dnipropetrovsk region – 13.71 million UAH, others – 11 million UAH.
At that, the company reminded that the amount of rent payments is calculated in accordance with the sales price of natural gas by Ukrhazvydobuvannya in favor of Naftohaz Ukrainy.
As previously reported, Ukrhazvydobuvannya intends to increase its own extraction of natural gas in 2023 by 1 billion cubic meters, to 13.5 billion cubic meters. In 2022, the company produced 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas (commercial), which is 3% less than in 2021.
