Slavic Wallpaper-KFTP JSC (Koryukivka, Chernihiv region), a leading Ukrainian wallpaper producer, produced 12.6 million conventional pieces of wallpaper in January-September 2024, up 1.8% compared to the same period in 2023.
According to statistics provided by UkrPapir Association to Interfax-Ukraine, the factory’s output growth rate slowed even further in the first nine months of the year compared to the same period last year: it was 6.8% in the first seven months and 3.9% in the first eight months.
However, in monetary terms, the factory’s production in January-September increased slightly (by 0.8%) to UAH 957.6 million.
In September, the company produced 1.39 million meters of wallpaper, which is 12.6% less than in September 2023, but 5.2% more than in August this year.
The Association does not have data on wallpaper production in Ukraine for the first nine months of 2024, as the State Statistics Service has stopped providing it.

As reported, in 2023, Slavic Wallpaper-KFTB increased its wallpaper production by 19% compared to 2022, to 16.2 million meters, production volume increased by 38.2% to UAH 1 billion 249 million, and net profit increased almost eightfold to UAH 47.7 million.
Earlier, the company noted that sales volumes, especially through retail channels, had dropped significantly as a result of Russian aggression.

According to statistics provided by Ukrpapir Association to Interfax-Ukraine, the company’s output growth rate slowed further in the first eight months of the year compared to the same period last year: it was 8.9% in the first six months and 6.8% in the first seven months.
Also, in monetary terms, the factory’s production volume in January-August increased by 2% to UAH 851.5 million.
In August, the company produced 1.32 million meters of wallpaper, which is 13.8% less than in August-2023 and 15.8% less than in July this year.
The EBA has no data on wallpaper production in Ukraine in January-August 2024, as the State Statistics Service has stopped providing it.

JSC “Slavyanske Wallpapers – KFTB” (formerly – Koryukivska Factory of Technical Papers, Chernihiv region), a leading Ukrainian wallpaper manufacturer, in January-July this year produced 9.27 million conditional pieces of wallpaper – 26.5% more than in the same period of 2022.
According to statistical data from the UkrPapyr association provided to Interfax-Ukraine, in July, in particular, it produced 1.62 million conditioned pieces – 4.2% less than in July-2022, but 3.6% more than in June this year.
At the same time, in monetary terms, the factory’s output in January-July increased by 56.3% to UAH 719.3 mln.
As reported, in January-February this year, the factory showed a 10.7% drop in production volume to the same pre-war period of 2022 – to UAH 189.51 million, with wallpaper production falling by 40.5% to 2.18 million pieces.
According to the association “UkrPapir”, in 2022, the factory reduced the output of wallpaper 2.4 times to 2021 to 13.59 million усл. pieces, the production volume decreased by 45% to 903.55 million UAH.
Earlier, the company noted that due to Russian aggression last year significantly reduced sales volumes, especially through retail channels.

Public joint-stock company Slovianski Shpalery-KFTB (previously Koriukivka industrial paper factory in Chernihiv region), one of the Ukrainian major wallpaper producers, in January-May 2019 produced 12.04 million conventional sheets of wallpaper, which was 26.9% up from a year ago, according to the UkrPapir association.
In January-April 2019, the growth was 3.9% year-over-year.
According to the association, over the period wallpaper production in Ukraine totaled 20.45 million conventional sheets of wallpaper, which was 46.3% less than in January-May 2018.
The share of Slovianski Shpalery-KFTB of total wallpaper production in January-May 2019 was almost 59%, while a year ago it was 25%.
In May alone, Slovianski Shpalery-KFTB produced 6.41 million conventional sheets of wallpaper, which is 12.4% less than in May 2018, but it is 33.8% more than in April 2019.
The volume of commodity products of the plant in January-May 2019 increased 44.4%, to UAH 685.3 million.

Public joint-stock company Slovianski Shpalery-KFTB (previously Koriukivka industrial paper factory in Chernihiv region), one of the CIS’ major wallpaper producers, in January-April 2018 produced 7.57 million conventional sheets of wallpaper, which was 2% up from a year ago, according to the UkrPapir association.
According to the association, wallpaper production in Ukraine in January-April 2018 grew by almost 4.4%, to 30.73 million conventional sheets of wallpaper. The factory’s share of total production was 24.6%.
In April 2018, wallpaper production in Ukraine totaled 7.94 million conventional sheets of wallpaper, which was 8.6% less than in April 2017 and 18.3% less than in March 2018.
Taking into account the production indicators, the volume of commodity products of the plant in January-April 2018 increased 28.4%, to UAH 373.32 million.
Slovianski Shpalery-KFTB produces several kinds of wallpaper, including washable, duplex, vinyl and acrylic wallpaper. It sells over 2,500 designs under the Slovianski Shpalery trademark.
Earlier around two-thirds of products made by the factory were supplied to Russia. The factory also shipped its products to the CIS and European countries.
In 2017 the factory reduced wallpaper output by 6.1% compared to 2016, to 26.79 million conventional units. In monetary terms, the volume of production remained almost at the level of 2016, amounting to UAH 1.066 billion.
