“Slavic Wallpaper-KFTB” maintains 9% growth rate in wallpaper production

JSC Slavic Wallpapers-KFTB (Koryukivka, Chernihiv region), a leading Ukrainian wallpaper producer, produced 8.34 million conventional pieces of wallpaper in January-June 2024, up 8.9% year-on-year.
According to statistics provided by UkrPapir Association to Interfax-Ukraine, the company maintained the growth rate of its output in the first six months of the year compared to the same period last year.
In monetary terms, the plant’s output for the first half of the year increased by 7.1% to UAH 641.4 million.
In June, the company produced 1.7 million units of wallpaper, which is 9.4% more than in June 2023 and 27.6% more than in May this year.
The EBA has no data on the total production of wallpaper in Ukraine in January-June 2024, as the State Statistics Service has stopped providing it.
As reported, in 2023, Slavic Wallpaper-KFTB increased its wallpaper production by 19% compared to 2022, to 16.2 million units, while production increased by 38.2% to UAH 1 billion 249 million, and net profit increased almost eightfold to UAH 47.7 million.
Earlier, the company noted that as a result of Russian aggression, sales volumes, especially through retail channels, had significantly decreased.

“Slavic Wallpaper – KFTB” slowed down growth rate of wallpaper production to 13.6%

JSC Slavic Wallpapers – KFTB (Koryukivka, Chernihiv region), a leading Ukrainian wallpaper producer, produced 5.29 million standard pieces of wallpaper in January-April 2024, up 13.6% year-on-year.

According to statistics provided by UkrPapir Association to Interfax-Ukraine, the factory’s output growth rate for the first four months of the year was 21% compared to the same period last year: in January-March, the growth rate was 21%.

At the same time, the factory’s production volume in monetary terms increased by 14.8% to UAH 417.4 million over four months.

In April, the company produced 1.49 million conventional pieces of wallpaper, which is 2% less than in April-2023, but 6.3% more than in March this year.

The EBA has no data on wallpaper production in Ukraine in January-April 2024, as the State Statistics Service has stopped providing it.

Slavic Wallpaper – KFTB (formerly Koryukivka Technical Paper Factory, Chernihiv region), Ukraine’s leading wallpaper producer, produced 2.41 million conventional pieces of wallpaper in January-February, up 9.4% year-on-year.

According to statistics provided by Ukrpapir Association to Interfax-Ukraine, the company’s output growth rate slowed slightly in the first two months of the year, to 18.1% in January.

At the same time, in monetary terms, the plant’s production increased by 8.6% to UAH 205.5 million.

The EBA has no data on the production of wallpaper in Ukraine in January-February 2024, as the State Statistics Service has stopped providing it.

As reported, in 2023, the factory increased its wallpaper output by 19% compared to 2022 to 16.2 million units, while production increased by 38.2% to UAH 1 billion 249 million.

JSC Slavic Wallpapers – KFTB (formerly Koryukivka Technical Paper Factory, Chernihiv region), a leading Ukrainian wallpaper producer, produced 16.2 million conventional pieces of wallpaper in 2023, up 19% from 2022.

According to statistics provided by UkrPapir Association to Interfax-Ukraine, in December, in particular, 1.12 million conventional pieces were produced, down 2% from December 2022 and 13% from November 2023.

At the same time, in monetary terms, the factory’s production volume increased by 38.2% to UAH 1 billion 249 million last year.

The EBA has no data on wallpaper production in Ukraine as a whole, as the State Statistics Service stopped providing it in 2019.

As reported, in 2022, the factory reduced wallpaper production by 2.4 times compared to pre-war 2021 to 13.59 million pieces, while production decreased by 45% to UAH 903.55 million.

The company noted that the Russian aggression had significantly reduced sales, especially through retail channels. The factory exported 56% of its products in 2022, mainly to Uzbekistan, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.
