From December, 18 till January, 9 on weekends and festive days there will work the New Year`s Residence, where every small and adult visitor will have the possibility to write a letter to the gray-bearded magician and leave it in the magic wish box.
During the «Winter fairy tale» on weekends and festive days the guests will see the festive performance with plunging into ancient traditions, rites and fairy tales. Only in Kyivan Rus it will be possible to see the unique author`s performance – the theatrical horse interactive of the fight between the overseas and the Slavic characters. The theatrical «gate storming», spells, different games and amusements will be waiting for the guests. Every willing one will get a chance to join the master-class on carol singing and also see the performance based on the story of N. Gogol – «Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka». And also – both children and adults will be invited to take part in fiery battles, round dances and flash mobs.
Ob Christmas, December, 25 and from January, 7 the fairy tale inhabitants of Ancient Kyiv will play the real nativity scene: Virgin Mary with the holy baby, shepherds, magi, and, of course – the struggle of good and evil and the victory of good in the finale.
A grandiose celebration of the New Year`s night will be waiting for the guests on December, 31 from 21:00! Ancient Kyiv has prepared a bright festive entertaining program with music and dances, the performances of the horse theatre and various amusements, tasty hot dishes, drinks and tinctures, gifts, treats and fireworks. You have never had such a celebration in your life!
During the whole New Year celebration cycle on weekends and festive days it will be possible to enjoy tasty meals, prepared on open fire, in garden houses and in the warm tavern.
In Ancient Kyiv every visitor will feel himself as the real citizen of the medieval city. Here you can put on historical costumes of Kyivan Rus times, learn to accurately shoot a bow, toss knives and mint coins according to ancient technology. And in the medieval shop and on the fair of masters – they will choose original handmade souvenirs for memory.
The lovers of extreme will be pleased with the «Zmiy Gorynych» speed slide and the «Politaylo» rope descent with tracks of different difficulties.
