KYIV. Nov 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Terminal-UPSS has launched a new tank fleet handling palm and exotic oils and other liquid edible products and fats.
According to a company press release, the fleet of 14 tanks with a total storage capacity of 41,000 cubic meters has elevated railway tracks and road, heated pipeline system and “nitrogen breathing” system to avoid aging of products, a warm water heating system and a laboratory.
“The polymeric internal coverage of the tanks allows working with almost any types of bulk cargos. Investment reached $7 million,” the company said.
Terminal-UPSS in next two years seeks to build a grain elevator with a storage capacity of 240,000 tonnes at Dnipro-Buhsky seaport.
Terminal-UPSS owns a port complex with a total storage capacity of 185 cubic meters – these are five terminals with a storage capacity of 25,000-40,000 tonnes each. The company’s core business is handling bulk edible cargos, as well as exporting molasses and vegetable oil.
