According to the Interfax-Ukraine Culture project, Ukraine’s State Film Agency has announced the call for submissions for Ukrainian films to participate in the 2027 Palm Springs International Film Festival, the agency’s press service reports.
“Ukrainian filmmakers can submit their works to participate in one of the leading international film festivals,” the statement notes.
As specified, the festival will take place in Palm Springs (USA) in January 2027. According to the organizers, the event will run from January 7 to 18 and will traditionally bring together filmmakers and industry representatives from around the world.
The Palm Springs International Film Festival is considered one of the key international platforms for world cinema and an important milestone ahead of awards season, particularly the Oscars.
The State Film Agency emphasizes that participation in the festival opens opportunities for the international promotion of Ukrainian films, the expansion of professional contacts, and entry into new markets.
The Palm Springs International Film Festival brings together hundreds of films from dozens of countries around the world each year and is one of the most influential international film festivals.
