DELTA WILMAR TO LAUNCH SECOND BOTTLING LINE FOR SUNFLOWER OIL IN UKRAINE

Delta Wilmar Ukraine LLC, part of the group of the transnational corporation Wilmar International, plans to launch of the second bottling line for sunflower oil under the TM Chumak in three- and five-liter containers at a plant in the village of Novi Biliari (Odesa region), the company also brought the first bottling line launched in November 2020 to its design capacity.
“Our nearest plans are to launch a second line designed for large-volume bottles – three liters and five liters. The market for these products is the Middle East and Africa. Since people in these countries live mainly in large families, they accordingly buy oil in a large container,” Mykola Danyliuk, the leading specialist in the production and packaging of bottled products, said in a message of the company on Facebook.
Delta Wilmar said that 10 months after the launch of the first sunflower oil bottling line at this enterprise, the company brought production volumes to the design capacity – 3,000 bottles per hour for containers with a capacity of 2 liters and 6,000 bottles per hour for containers of 0.85 liter and 1 liter.
The company recalled that the volume of investments in the first bottling line exceeded $5.5 million, and 45 jobs were created.

DELTA WILMAR UKRAINE LLC LAUNCHED IN NOVEMBER A SHOP FOR BOTTLING SUNFLOWER OIL UNDER THE CHUMAK TRADEMARK

Delta Wilmar Ukraine LLC, a member of the group of the transnational agro-industrial corporation Wilmar International, launched in November a shop for bottling sunflower oil under the Chumak trademark, in particular, filling it into PET bottles.
According to the company’s Facebook message, the investment amounted to more than $5.5 million, and 45 jobs were created.
Delta Wilmar plans to export bottled products, which the company will produce at the new workshop, abroad, mainly to the countries of Asia, Africa and Europe.
The company also said that this year a new shop for processing and packaging of margarine and fat products was opened, investments in which amounted to more than $29 million.
Delta Wilmar Ukraine LLC is part of the group of the transnational agro-industrial corporation Wilmar International, which market capitalization today is about $22 billion.

DELTA WILMAR BUYING CHUMAK FOOD PRODUCER

Delta Wilmar is buying the Chumak food producer from Dragon Capital.
“Chumak is one of the largest food producers in Ukraine. Delta Wilmar is buying the entire company,” Delta Wilmar CEO Yuri Golyanich said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
Details of the transaction will be known early this week.
According to the information on the website of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the regulator agreed on the purchase of Flottotrade Limited by Crestone Investments Limited (both from Cyprus).
Crestone Investments owns Chumak subsidiary LLC. The ultimate beneficiary is the head of Dragon Capital Tomas Fiala.
Chumak is the largest producer of food products: canned vegetables, sauces, ketchups, pasta, mayonnaise, desserts. The company also produces products for retail chains and HoReCa under the private label.

DELTA WILMAR TO BUILD NEW BERTH AT YUZHNY PORT

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority and Delta Wilmar CIS have signed amendments to the memorandum and defined priority areas in implementing the next public-private partnership project at Yuzhny seaport.
According to the report on the agency’s website, it is planned that private investors will build new berth No. 37 in the port, a plant for processing soybeans, as well as storage and handling facilities for handling bulk agricultural cargo. The agency, in turn, will conduct dredging works to create an operational water area and an approach channel to the new pier.
According to the plans of Delta Wilmar CIS, the new plant for processing soybeans will have a capacity of up to 2,000 tonnes per day, a terminal for the accumulation and simultaneous storage of grain and meal for 40,000 tonnes.
Delta Wilmar CIS LLC was established in 2004. It specializes in the production of oil and fat goods and ingredients for bakery, confectionery and dairy products.
