MINISTER OF HEALTH: COVID DOESN’T DISAPPEARED

The COVID-19 pandemic has not ended, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine continues to provide oxygen supplies to COVID clinics, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko has said. “The coronavirus has not disappeared. There is only one pandemic in the world, nothing has disappeared, despite the fact that this topic is not on the front pages,” he said on the air of the 1+1 TV channel on Wednesday.
Liashko noted that the Ministry of Health continues to provide COVID hospitals with oxygen in the required volume.
He also said that there is enough COVID-19 vaccine in Ukraine, but the vaccine campaign is hampered by logistical problems.

MINISTER OF HEALTH: LOCKDOWN NOT PROVIDED IN UKRAINE

Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko said that a lockdown due to the omicron coronavirus strain is not envisaged in Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported.
“There will be no lockdown. We work in an adaptive quarantine that provides for a ‘red zone,” the press service of the Ministry of Health quoted Liashko as saying.
It is reported that at present there are enough vaccines against coronavirus in the country, so it is inappropriate to talk about tightening quarantine measures.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health notes that as soon as the vaccination rate reaches 70%, adaptive quarantine will also end.

MINISTER OF HEALTH: THERE IS NO OMICRON STRAIN IN UKRAINE

– At present, no Omicron strain causing coronavirus (COVID-19) has been found in Ukraine.
According to the Health Ministry press service, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko announced this information at a conference call to prevent the spread of COVID-19 disease in Ukraine, chaired by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
