The State Customs Service (Derzhmytsluzhba) will make public all information that does not violate commercial secrets, head of the customs Maksym Nefyodov said during the Open Data Forum in Kyiv on Friday.
“We are submitting a bill to open anonymized data at the customs. We want to open all the information without violating, of course, commercial secrets,” he said.
According to Nefyodov, the customs will complete an IT audit by the end of the year and prepare a digital transformation strategy.
“Now we are at the stage of an IT audit. The audit will be fully completed before the end of the year. By this time, we will have a digital transformation strategy. For the customs, almost everything is connected with the processing of information,” Nefyodov said.
As reported, earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk expressed his confidence in new chief of the State Customs Service Maksym Nefyodov. Honcharuk said it is possible to defeat smuggling before the end of 2019.
