As of March 25, about 350,000 people have enrolled for the waiting list for vaccination against coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, according to the website of the Public Health Center.
One can enroll for the vaccination waiting list from March 1 through the Diia portal or mobile application, as well as through the call center of the Ministry of Health.
The center notes that a person does not need to enroll for a waiting list if the person is:
– an employee of the healthcare, education or social sphere, working or staying in boarding schools, nursing homes, etc.;
– soldier;
– an employee of critical structures of state security.
In this case, the employer or the head of the institution will inform a person about the possibility of getting vaccinated.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov has signed an order to convene an extraordinary plenary meeting of the Rada in connection with the demand of 156 deputies, the press service of the parliament reports.
According to the released agenda, the deputies will hear information from the heads of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police and the State Bureau of Investigations regarding the events that took place near the building of the President’s Office on March 20, and will consider a draft resolution No. 5295 condemning these events.
The agenda also provides for the consideration of draft resolutions on the early termination of the powers of MPs Oleksandr Skychko and Ihor Kolykhayev, as well as on the appointment of early elections for the mayor of Kharkiv and Shehyni rural head in Lviv region.
The second batch of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine from the Chinese manufacturer Sinovac Biotech is expected in the coming weeks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
He said that the signed contract provides for the receipt of almost 2 million doses, according to the presidential press service.
“In addition to China, the Sinovac vaccine is already used by 18 countries of the world. In particular, Turkey, where President Erdogan and Patriarch Bartholomew were vaccinated with it,” Zelensky said.
As reported, on Thursday evening, March 25, the first batch of the Chinese COVID-19 vaccine CoronaVac, produced by the Chinese company Sinovac Biotech, in amount of 215,000 doses, arrived at Boryspil International Airport.
